A nice game jam game. Most of the issues I had have already been mentioned.
Thank you for the game!
Not a bad start. The shifting dimensions and the inclusion of story dialogue definitely adds something interesting to the game.
The camera perspective and the physics collisions need work, but overall a nice submission.
The camera angle makes it quite hard to navigate, especially when the dialogues hide the bottom part of the screen, which makes the 2nd level a bit frustrating. Otherwise nice game which could benefit of a few more levels.
After a few tries I was able to beat both levels 😀 The voices were very low (as many complained for our submission too, to be fair 😅). The collisions were a bit rough on the edges which increased difficulty. Nice submission
Cool Idea, but I found it a bit hard to read and play, the is not always clear, maybe a different camera angle could help there, it is easy to get stuck and I find that the ability to jump over walls defeat their purpose . This is a good start thou :)
Amusing submission.
I got eaten by a ghost while reading the dialogue in the first level, which wasn’t ideal. But after that managed to complete both levels.
The atmosphere reminds me of the Lordaeron Fall tileset in WarCraft III, giving a cozy autumn vibe (which would make sense if you’re in the southern hemisphere)
Interesting game. I had a lot of issues getting stuck and understanding the ghost movement. I think setting up some invisible colliders to take away the corners of the geometry might help with the movement issue. I had fun trying it out. Thanks for the game.
A nice reimagining of Pac-Man, with the ability to switch between two dimensions to eliminate ghosts. There's a little difficulty navigating the level, as the character easily gets stuck in corners, but overall, a good product.
This is quite a good idea! I love how it plays like a pac-man game, but untill I read it in the comments I didn't even realize it. Yet it is such an apt description.
I think I see the vision. I like the idea of switching dimensions :D
It reminded me of a few games I played before. Especially Twisted Mask.
It was just a lot going on I guess :(
The music was way louder than the voices and I got really confused at first because the game was already going during the dialogue. I got stuck a lot in the beginning but when I got the hang of it it was doable :D
The second level was my favorite because in the first level I could just go afk and occassionally switch the dimensions lol
I think if you give this game a bit more polish it could become really great :)
Really liked the art! It was a bit hard to move around sometimes but otherwise great
Enemy pathing was pretty good. Even after learning to manipulate their AI I was impressed at the increase in pressure as the game progressed. Nice job!
The "get unstuck" key was absolutely necessary. The game play was not super difficult once you got use to switching realms. I'll mimic what another post said... its a horror version of pacman
reminded me of an interesting horror version of PacMan. Not bad.
This was difficult to play. I rushed for the obvious door but quickly learned to roam around but oh boy, I got stuck on everything. If even a pixel is off, then I am stuck on a piece of wall, constantly. A bit of movement would fix it, otherwise great!
conceptually interesting, but mechanics could use a bit more polish. My main gripe would be the movement, it's rigid and really easy to get stuck in weird angles. Another problem I run into was the sudden enemy spawn, there's no indication where the enemy spawn unless you already know ahead of time. There would be times when I was just moving through the level and then I seemingly get a game over out of nowhere because I unknowingly walk into an enemy spawn zone as they were spawning in. With a bit of polish, this is quite a neat concept.
Nice game! Movement's a bit awkward at times and I feel like this game needs a better gameplay loop rather than just collecting stuff and escaping. But a couple of other improvements could also be just adding more feedback into the interactions like dying, collecting, etc. I do understand that the dialogue are there for the story aspect but I find them a bit too obstructive since it takes up half the screen. I still did have fun though! Great job!
nice game, sound is good
but movement has to be improved - i was stuck alot
PAC-MAN But with a really cool twist! Nice work! It was tough, I was SOOOOOO CLOSE TO Winning the first level! Great idea, great jam game.
I really like the idea of this game! It does need a bit more polish, though—I found I could easily jump around obstacles instead of swapping dimensions, so it might be worth adding some restrictions there to encourage using the main mechanic.
