Really fun game, love the art, the different bullets you can buy, just a really solid job overall. Lovely job!
Really cool game! surprisingly smooth movement and shooting the gun felt great. Only major issues I’d say the game had was that the enemy projectiles were very big and very fast when i felt like it should’ve been one or the other. Take this with a grain of salt though since I am playing on a laptop trackpad while in bed so my experience was rougher than standard. But overall a great foundation and fun game!
I love revolver type games! This was a fun one and I liked the slay the spire style map!
Very cool and awesome game! The boss was kinda insane with all the bullets it shot and it lagged out on browser. I love the character design for the player though, and all the cool art for them! Cool to also see someone cook up a similar idea to me lol
Very polished game and the art is very expressive (esp the character portrait on the map), Id say the difficulty is just right, beat it in 2/5 runs and the special bullets are really cool and give u a meaningful boost in combat, solid job!
I really liked the gameplay and the art. I do find it extremely difficult, though. I wish I could afford buying more bullets and health, but I don't really get to see how many coins I have, nor the description of what the bullets do. These are just small details, totally understandable given the game jam circumstances. Overall its a great game, congrats!
Fun game, I loved the art style especially.
Wish there was more of it! It was hard to test out different bullets because it was rare to get enough shops + enough money to keep buying them in one run. I played a few times though because I did enjoy myself. The ending was a little anticlimactic - after beating the boss it felt very sudden to just get dropped back at the title, I would've liked a bit more fanfare and celebration for my monumentous achievement!
Needed a little more spinning, but other than that, great entry.
This is such an awesome game! This has a lot of potential to be a full fledged game. Though I do find there are some parts that needs a bit more juice like getting hit for example but other than that, it was so fun! Very creative take on the theme, art is sooo polished and mechanics are well thoguht out as well. I would also say its quite serious! Overall, I had fun with this one, please make more of thiss!! Awesome work!
very noice! whish there were more of da game :3
Very entertaining. Loved the art and gameplay, the music was nice also. Wish the bossfight was longer, maybe I was kinda too OP at the end. Great job!!
Really fun game! the enemy designs are cool and so is the roguelike next round select, and the boss was fun aswell, I think I may have had a bug where after I lost the boss his health bar was always there until I met him again, the shop was cool but I found myself prioritizing health more, and the camp fire always gave me money right before the boss which seemed a bit weird maybe i got really unlucky with its spawns, and sometimes it felt a bit tough to dodge the jumping enemies. I know I mainly mentioned gripes but I really had fun just some minor issues I had while playing, great stuff!
I love the art style! This game direction is so good, and I like the protagonist design. I think he is really cool and badass. I want more of this game. Perhaps, maybe an upgrade or demo? But until then. Congrats on the submission!
This game is really fun! My laptop's trackpad wasn't working too well, but the touchscreen was, which I think actually elevated the experience. I had to tap enemies on the screen to fire. I actually had a lot of fun playing this! I'd like to see you take it further, if you have any desire to. The mechanic of building your chamber of bullets is really cool, great for roguelikes. This would make a great mobile game
If you added like sequential synergies to the chamber (bullet that makes enemy take double damage on next hit), then you could put that -> sniper for a crazy build. Could be a lot of fun.
I really like this one. Its a very fun and challenging game. Combat is fun and polished, but its sometimes annoying when cannon enemy shoots right after its spawned and youre standing close to spawn point. Progression system is very nice addition to the game too. I havent finished the boss fight, but thats probably my skill issue :D. Overall a very nice game!
Nice, bitesized shootout game, although spinning isn't really a part of it. The only spinning seems to be the UI for the bullets, which is cute, but doesn't really change anything. For example, if the bullets were just lined up in a row instead of being in a circle, the game wouldn't play any differently. Regardless of this, it's still a fun game and had a good time!
It kind of just throws you into it, but the controls are fairly intuitive, so it's too much of an issue. There seems to be a bit of a difficulty curve issue as generally the encounters leading up to the boss are pretty free, but then the boss is just a crazy bullet hell where there is no choice but to get hit and spam shots until you win. It's also pretty anti-climactic to win because you just get booted back to the menu with no indication that you won or lost.
I really enjoyed the overworld map style of level select, although the map generation could do with some fine tuning to make sure the routes are somewhat sensible. On my second run, I got campfires and shops all the way from the start to the boss!
Love the artwork in this, the shopkeeper is so cool! Everything feels pretty cohesive. That being said, some of the UI was a little wonky. The text box in the attached screenshot made me laugh so much as it just got smaller and smaller with every letter lmao
Hi, thank you for the feedback! Indeed, I didn't get to incorporate the theme much, as my initial idea for the game was a little different, but as I kept working on the project, tuning the mechanics (and cutting out what I didn't have time for) I ended up removing most of the spin related aspects of the game, which I realised way too late into development to do anything about it, and is something I do regret.
This is a really good game! Even though I suck at it xD
Love the Visuals, the Sound and just the general vibe of it!
This was fun, and it shows a lot of potential! The different bullet types are fun and the revolver is a great method of letting the player use them in a limited capacity. It did feel a little unfair, even with dodging; I rarely successfully jumped over the skeletons, and the boss fires a LOT of bullets. Especially when I would only have enough coins (or opportunities to purchase) from the previous rounds to enter the boss with two special bullets. It would've been nice to have guaranteed a shop right before the boss (I did get campsites right before a boss, which is also helpful, but campsites give coins that I wanted to spend before entering the fight). The art is also very impressive, it's clear y'all put a lot of effort into it.
great job on this one! another one I would play if it was a longer game
Fun but feels frustrating at times like how you basically will always get hit by the skeletons and the boss has so many bullets he fires, though it is partially a skill issue on my part.
Really fun, I had a scaling issue and couldn't see all the screen at first but it cleared up after a few screen refreshes. The art was really good, and the gameplay is tough but rewarding. All round great entry.
