I loved the specials effects of each card, good game! :D

Great take on the theme, and I like the visuals! It's very polished for such a short jam, congrats!

The performance was slow but I loved the concept and its creativity :)

Very creative take on the theme, I like the fact that you combined it with a card game. The visuals and sfx  are nice, though I would've loved it if the text on the cards were bigger. It also would've been nice to see how each card affected the fatigue and thirst, like how much would it increase or decrease, because you can't really see the actual number for the bar themselves. Also some cards i played would fail to activate i think? Not sure why that is. But even so, the game does communicate its mechanics pretty well.

Thanks for playing and the feedback. I think for sure in another version we'd like to have card's impact read a little clearer.

The UI and Sound design are very impressive and polished for a Jam game. I also like the idea.

The Text seams a little small and hard to read (maby its just my high monitor resolution) and the web version was kinda lagging when I placed a card.
But besides of this very cool game!:)

Lol finally made it through to the end and I got refused. Id like to speak to the manager lol.

The artstyle is beautiful from the logo down the the cards themselves. I did have some lag spikes when it spawned in the effects for the cards but it was managable and didnt reduce the experience. I loved this awesome take on cards managing the thirst and fatigue.

Very unique! Love it!

Developer

Haha! Spoilers! Glad you liked it. There is for sure a performance issue when a card is played, especially on the browser version. We are working on it, so maybe a fancy new version after the jam voting period. Thanks for playing!

Interesting game with somewhat creative mechanics with some balancing issue? especially some cards are quite strong for what they do (Rend imo). The cards are also quite wordy for what they do, though after a bit I realize it’s just a lot of flavor text. Gameplay-wise it took a bit to figure out and I only won on my second try after understanding what cards do what. A pretty cool game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We were trying to get the balance reasonable during the last day but.. time makes fools of us all.

Okay, wow, what a REALLY interesting game! Simple, but gosh darn effective! I do love me some push-your-luck type games, and the implementation of it here is sweet! My one comment here is that the UI does NOT scale well in my monitor (and I'm pretty sure I only have a regular 1080p monitor, so this could be a problem), so I couldn't read the flavor text!! Now, that could be intentional — after all, who wants to listen to the vampire's stories amirite — but considering that the Q and E tooltips can't be read, I think it's something that ought to be fixed. Other than that, I love this game! I love the female radio voice in the background too, such a nice atmosphere all round. Great job!

Consider trying my game as well! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the super kind words! All fair and valid feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed playing it. :)

laggy, but pretty. I liked the style of the cards

Developer

Thanks for taking a look! Yeah we were a little bummed at the browser performance too. Glad you liked the card art though!

Good looking art and card animations! Overall the only real issue i had was the card text being quite small and hard to read, but still very lovely game and love the presentation of it

Developer

Thanks for the kind words. We really love the card art too. Being able to see the cards in a little more detail is for sure something we want to take a look at.

Truly gorgeous art and polished game, a bit too laggy on Web but that's okay. Texts are small though

The game is cool, but it stuttered and lagged for me. Still, it's fun.
