Cool idea. I think the execution could be a little better -- it's generally a bit wonky and I don't understand why R restarts the entire level and not just the room. Had to give up on level 3 unfortunately because time is running out (how fitting!). With some more QoL-features, this could be a cool game, though!

I think the main issue with the game is the broken timer. Having to reset the game because of the broken timer makes the game more difficult than it needs to be. However the level design is great and the concept of time freezing in a puzzle platformer is fun :)
lovely pixels! this has a lot of polish. i really like the wipe transitions and the way you integrated the instructions into the game instead of popping a window up, it looks so natural.
great work!
Damn love the art and atmosphere of the game. Looks very nice. Game is a little on the hard side :D Got stuck on level 7. The time to get to the other hourglasses was bit short XD Might be me tho. The mechanics of the game is pretty sick. The controls feel very snappy in a good way :) and overall great game. Thank you for making this :D
Love the art and the game idea I think its so creative. Could be a skill issue but I was pretty lost most of the time. Still very cool, Great job!
I liked the concept.
However, I could not complete the third level, I know what to do (I think) but the challenge is a little too hard to complete. Jumping and attacking was hard for me (I am a controller player nearly exclusively, very challenging to use KBM). I you simplify this (maybe by removing physical collision to keep only hitbox on hourglass so they can be on the floor perhaps? I let you the judge of how), I may continue (and finish?) the game.
I still enjoyed playing it, thanks!
thank you for your feedback, I know the game is hard for new players, but like stopping at level 3 is not even scratching the surface of the game mechanic, the is some interesting puzzle on this game that use the count down as a part of it, and also there is another object "Sand Timer" you will see it on level 6, and has different mechanics than the "Broken Sand Timer" which is the swapping between the remaining time and the wasted time (to gain what you waste, or loose what you remain to complete the puzzle), btw thank you for enjoying my game! really appreciate that :)
Hard game, but really fun! Would love to see more puzzles! Good job on the jam!
Very creative and brain-wracking puzzle design, and it's wild that you got the game looking so good in such a short time as a solo dev! Use of the hourglasses to freeze environmental obstacles was also a really interesting game mechanic that I haven't seen from any other puzzlers so far. Especially liked solution of level 6. Only major qualm is that using the one-sided hourglasses is very frustrating - if you hit them on accident or when you're experimenting with the level, there's no way to reset them, which can be frustrating especially on longer levels like the final stage.
I loved the level design, very clever use of the mechanic to create interesting puzzles. I would suggest making it possible to revert the hourglass, because it's a pain having to restart the whole level if you fail. Also, I would suggest binding the hourglass activation to a key, to make it easier. For example pressing Enter to activate a near hourglass. Otherwise, it can feel like this puzzle game requires suddenly some platforming abilities from you. Like in the second level, stopping the second hourglass on the right time is difficult.
Overall, great entry, I really enjoyed it. Cool to see how different our ideas where with the same title :D
Woah, the production here is high-quality. The art, audio, animations, and puzzles are all really well-made! Really great work for just 4 days.
There are a few things that felt overly punishing and lessened my enjoyment. Restarting a level causing the whole level to restart, rather than just the room, was frustrating after working hard to get to a final room and then making a mistake at the last moment. I also thought it was difficult getting in position to actually hit some of the hourglasses. If I could reset individual rooms, or have three states for an hourglass (countdown, paused, rewind), then I would feel more motivated to solve all the puzzles.
That being said, what you made in 4 days is really great and feels like a demo to a full indie game. Would love to see an update with some of these pain points addressed!
Game is really well put together. I enjoyed it very much.
The only frustrating part is that the restart restarts the whole level, I would rather have it restart the room.
Other than that, its a very nice submission.
Well done :D
Cute game, nice puzzles, good music. Movement felt a bit weird first but was able to get used to it!
Hey, amazing game. Concept wise, probably the best I’ve played this jam. Here is some unasked feedback:
- I love a puzzle game where you can’t just do random stuff until the puzzle is solved by accident. You did a GREAT job on this. Nice level design. The following feedback is just nitpicking to try to help you make it better :)
- The platforming in general and jumping in particular feels odd and unresponsive. I understand this was pushed back in favor of dedicating time to the puzzles, that’s perfectly fine. In fact our game suffers from the same issue.
- Because of that, the “speed platforming” parts felt unnecessarily frustrating.
- Also because of that, needing to jump to hit the hourglasses make the experience less fun, specially because of the fact that the character bounces on them.
- An extra second on many timers would have helped the fun. I don’t need a puzzle game to require sub-second precision.
- I don’t quite understand when a timer will freeze, unfreeze or activate something. There is visual clues or do I need to try?
I played until I reached this in the last level

Needing to restart the whole level to retry this was too much for me. Is it good to punish mistakes as it makes the player more engaged. But too much, and players won’t bother redoing the same thing again and again.
I see this becoming a great complete game. Congratulations on your work!
Also, I would love to have your feedback in our game :3
Really thank you some much for this honest feedback, I really appreciate that, I will for sure take notes of the user experience to help me get better at gameplay design, the issue is that I'm not a designer I just made up this by experience of making games a lot and not by user experience and also made up the difficulty depending on me the developer which is a huge mistake for new players!, but I will be more aware about this next time, btw thank you so much!
This is is so polished! Your theming is tight with music, visuals, and mechanics ALL tying together. I did want a room rather than a level reset, but apart from that I really quite enjoyed the puzzles.
Great game! I quit on the last level, it was just too big, hard to keep the layout in my head. Pro-tip, make the game easy so everyone can beat it but include rewards for those that are good at the game! This is something I struggled with too, for us developing the game we know exactly what to do, where things are, but new players don't so it's better to make it too easy than too hard.
thank you so much for your feedback and your advice! and yeah the think is that I made levels up to me not to new players, and thinking its easy! and didn't have testers to know (that's why all my games are harder, every game I publish people suffer, my bad), but glad you enjoyed even though its hard!
This game looks incredibly polished for a jam game! I really liked the level design too with one nitpick that it would've been nice if I could reset a room instead of the whole level. Very well done!
