Will absolutely be coming back to give this game more investigation. I like the premise, physics games are always a bit harder to get the hang of since everyone's physics engines are different. I do love the concept though!

Some suggestions
1 - Hotkey the parts, in a timed game, mouse drags are expensive. Since the goal is to build a sturdy and reliable rocket, mouse drag is an annoyance
2 - Add a tutorial level. I got what I was suppose to do immediately, but not every player will have that experience
3 - Add a gradient change as I fly higher. The sky staying the same color didnt really showcase I was gaining altitude

I also made a rocket game, so I am biases in the fact this is a PERFECT tie to the theme lol, but great job overall!

Developer

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment and feedback! We are weighing out the pros and cons to continue developing it and maybe making it a Steam release :D If we do that, I’ll definitely circle back to this comment and make sure your suggestions comes along with <3

The gradient does already change, but we only had time to make 6 different background slices due to the limited time, but maybe we should have fine tunes the height numbers for the transitions between the backgrounds better, I do agree.

Loved your game as well, got my heart pumping and had be leaning for what might fault might happen next XD <3

I think it would be more fun if you allowed rockets to launch even without all the parts. Too many parameters made the first session a little less enjoyable. Anyway, it’s still very funny and a complete game. Happy gaming!!!

P.S.: Don’t mind the “Be me Be me!!!” title. I’m from Salus Centum: /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4812359

I absolutely agree with you. Based on the flight stats we have collected so far, out of 3739 rocket launches, 2470 failed due to missing fins XD Those damn fins! (Not you, people from Finland)

Thank you so much for the nice comment, I will be checking out your game as well <3

Edit: AH! I already checked out Salus Centum! I still remember those damn stomach bacteria XD I absolutely loved it, you guys did great! <3 I’ll check out “Be me Be me” as well tho <3

This is incredibly ambitious for a short game jam, what a triumph! My best was only 9.6k meters.

Developer

Thank you so much! <3 Yeah I’m impressed myself that we managed to pull it off, without even messing up anyones sleep rhythm! :D

My parents wanted me to make a similar game and I didn't know how it would be done but you did it! Fun game, taking me back to my KSP days. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the entertaining stream! Was lovely to watch you play so many of the different submissions! <3

Woah I love these kinds of games! I liked that the components had a noticable effect on how the rocket flew. I also like the charcater design for the characters on top, helps add vibes haha. Overall cool game! Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the very nice comment! Yeah our artist did very good, and we spent probably 1/3 of the development time on the physics and adjustments after having it playtested :) I’m happy you liked it! <3

I have no clue how to get past 1000 meters :,D

Developer(+1)

By doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over again, until it suddenly works! :D Hope you had some fun with our little game :D <3

Wow. This was a great idea. Fits the theme well. Reminds me of another space program game.... At least I was better at this one! Great work. Especially for the allotted time to make it.

Developer

Thank you for your very nice comment! We definitely drew some inspiration from Kerbal, but wanted to make it fun for a broader audience with much simpler mechanics :D <3

Cool game!

Developer

Thank you very much! <3

Really original concept fitting the theme. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much! <3 I’m really proud of what we managed to make! :D

this game is sooo addicting. such a creative idea for this year‘s theme! i love how hands on it is, easy to play but hard to master. gtg my rockets need some work

Developer

Haha! Yeah some people have been going crazy with the leaderboard XD Thank you for the very nice comment <3 And good luck, the faith of the world is in your hands!

This game is amazing! The music swelling as the rocket ascends hits so hard, fantastic job.

I'm not good at it though - apparently I can build a stable rocket or a powerful rocket, but not both. I think I maxed out at about 50k. I had a hell of a lot of fun trying though!

Developer

Thank you so much! <3

I’m right there with you! XD Personal best of 58k, I applaude the others getting waaay above this tho :)

I’m happy you got some enjoyment out of our little game <3

The game is good, and the music and artwork are very well done.

Developer

Thank you very much! Definitely my personal favorite jam project so far :)

I am quite addicted to this game already. Got over 100k one time, now I'm trying to figure out how the leaderboard is posting million+. Some minor gripes about some more math that could be added, but very happy for a gamejam output. Will keep coming back.

Developer

Yeah some people are taking off (pun intended :)), almost 2.5k rockets have been sent off so far!

Definitely a potential for physics additions and tweaks. Thank you for the nice comment <3

Really cool idea though I struggled with the actual countdown. It feels like a sandbox that people want to internalize the numbers they are reading and understand the system rather than grabbing parts from  each component type to stack. A lot of math is involved that I don't even really get the opportunity to examine let alone optimize!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I agree, we wanted to add a section to the main menu that had an overview of all the parts, but did unfortunately not have time for it <3

SO creative! Unexpectedly addicting, in the best way. Such fun graphics and I can't wait to see how the game grows. One day I will get on that leaderboard :')

Developer (1 edit)

Aww, thank you Nohammy <3 I believe in you, you will conquer the leaderboards :))

Submitted(+1)

That's a wonderful concept for count down theme! Fun trying to put together the parts within a very limited time and never got that far, but still very entertaining!

Developer

Thank you for the very nice comment <3 Happy you got some entertainment out of it :D

Neat idea and addictive loop - but I couldn't for the life of me get a good rocket going haha!

I think having more elements to the background would have given a better sense of speed, aside from watching a number tick up/down, but overall a fun concept :)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you! Yeah you and me both, I cant even come close to the top 10, and I am one of the creators! XD

Completely agree on more visuals for the trip, but we worked our poor artist half to death during the jam <_< <3

Submitted

hah. it's simple game, but  very intersting:)

Developer

Thank you for trying the game! :D <3

Super cool game!! I was so proud over my little rocket going 10.000 meters before I saw the leaderboard :') <3

Developer

Thank you! <3 10.000 meters is very good! I think some of the people on the leaderboard needs addiction rehab XD

(+1)

I'm not sorry

I spent way too much time trying to build big rockets in 20s before realizing smaller is much better 😂 Fun little sim :) -B

Developer(+1)

Hehehe! Yeah you need to base your building strategies around the pilot you get as well! :D Thank you for trying it out <3
