How does your game fit the theme?
Timer constantly ticks down, using movement abilities takes time from the timer. You are also counting down floors of a tower.

really cool game i must say, i didn't understand the going through the wall part, but later did understood it, and made it until floor 13 before i gave up, lowk cool game i must say it stressed me out alot aswell lol, would love it if you could spend some time rating my game aswell!
Speed running games generally stress me out but this was fun! It was stressful in a fun way. The controls felt really nice (though complicated platform is hard on a keyboard) and the levels were really well designed. Having to choose whether or not to get the time bonus coins added a nice layer of faced paced decision making. I also loved the crt tv effect you had going on there. My only point of feedback is that the character sprite was sometimes a little hard to track visually, I think giving him a little more definition would help. Really great work overall!
Really fun game! The time limit is just enough to beat the level set, so you need to actually get skillful to beat them. Each set has 5 levels, and there's usually 1 that is a bit more challenging until you get the hang of it. The difficulty was just right for me, although the Ctrl key kept messing with my browser near the end. Congrats on your submission. Cheers!
Fun game! It gets pretty tough as you get further in, but its manageable, so I think it's balanced well. My only complaint is something feels a little off with the wall jump, I can't put my finger on exactly what. The other movement mechanics felt smooth though.
Feel free to rate my game too if you get the chance :)
I really liked this! The movement feels super responsive, and the idea of spending time to use your movement abilities makes every decision feel meaningful. The level transitions were also a really nice touch and made the whole game feel polished.
The only thing I struggled with was the wall jump at first, but once it clicked it became really satisfying. Nice work, this was a fun one! 🥰
Very cool but damn it gets hard.
Very clean. Nice to control. You got that coyote time and input buffering so thumbs up on that. Very good art, sound design is phenomenal, all around great. I'd like to be able to play on a controller
it is a littil hard
That transition between levels is pure fire!!! Loved the game
I tried to make a micro deckbuilder for this jam - I feel like you did the same but for a platformer. Fantastic game you made here. Perfect mix of speedrunner and platformer (two of my favourite genres). Addicting game loop and great level design makes for a lot of replayability.
The presentation is also a simple and effective, and I love how the colour slowly changes as you progress. So much polish and nice details everywhere. Great job making this.
I liked the character controller feel, nice and snappy. The graphics were very cohesive and focused, and the crt-screen warping and interlacing was pretty. I lost track of my character against doors a few times and kind of wished that spikes, doors, and characters had different colors. Really fun, solid work. Congratulations on making such a polished game for a jam!
My game is a bit like yours. I wanted to add slanted edges but I didn’t know how to use shaders in Unity. I hope you try it, it’s called INTO_TV, and give me your opinion, the graphics are simple but very consistent.. Your game is really good!!!
The game can be fun but I have a mixed feeling about the controls.
Be careful of making Ctrl key part of the movements because in web builds you can do commands with it, like Ctrl+W you close the tab, or Ctrl+D to save a tab and maybe the player hits that by accident and that stops the gameplay.
I don’t like that all the controls are in charge of 1 hand, I would prefer movement with 1 and action with the other when is games like this, in other kind of games like shooters I don’t mind one hand doing all the work, but that’s because my other and is moving the mouse, here feels like an overload of actions.
The penalty you get by breaking rocks, you get it even if the action isn’t performed and I got that a lot in small spaces to jump, like here:
But outside of those observations, I had fun, once you get used to the controls, you can go fast and feels nice, there is 1 hard level per skill / set of levels and I like that, I like you make the player choose between using the skill or take the path of calm, I did a mix of both in some parts.
I liked the song, never felt repetitive and the visuals are ok, I like this kind of simple visuals, I would put the color of the start of the level different than the character, when it’s the 1st time, it can be a little confusing to see where you are at, maybe it only affects at the start because it’s intended to play over and over the levels so at the end you know where you spawn, but for more readability, it would be nice.
Also I liked the pace of the game, it feels fun and quick
I played twice, my second run I almost one shot everything and that was enough for me haha. Nice entry :)
Cool game! Really liked the aesthetic and the music. Also, loved the transition between levels.
The walljump is a bit tricky, but it's a beautifully done game that plays at such a breakneck speed! It's really addictive as well like the others said!
This is a really polished and addictive entry! From the death animation to the screen transitions to the fact that the timer doesn't go down when teaching a new mechanic, it all just feels right. Nice work!
This game is f*cking hard, f*ck you, I enjoyed every second of it. Best submission I've seen so far. Banger.
The wall jumping was tricky for me. But the game's aesthetic is fantastic.
