How does your game fit the theme?
When you push the button, the counter goes down until the logo hits the ground.

Awesome!
Very funny and fun game! There's a surprising element of strategy in a game consisting of the godot logo of all things bouncing around the screen XD
Well done!
I honestly didn't expect this to be an actual game. Very creative, and actually quite fun.
lol, yes I did make a game. I’m glad you had fun :)
It was so fun, everything is placed correctly for the gameplay. The moment I saw the number 00.000 in the timer I knew this is a masterpiece. Congrats!
It may be mu magnum opus! Thanks for playing :)
Definitely needs a lot of patience to beat the game. The idea and interpretation of the theme is neat. With sound design it would be way more cool !
Imagine showing this to someone from 1991. They would not BELIEVE how high definition and complicated games became by 2026. What's next? Vertical sliders? Insanity.
Loved the game, surprised in the best possible way. And genuinely a good puzzle. With some actual art and effects, this is an all timer. Although I do appreciate the DIY nature of the presentation as part of the appeal too. Well done!!
Vertical sliders? I’m not sure I understand. You mean like not horizontal? Can the world cope with such an idea?
Thanks for playing :)
Vertical sliders? Get out of the boat.
Dont let the neigh Sayers fool you, there is in fact a slider! And a button! Very very creative game I gotta say, love the little tricks you do to make it intuitive to the player too
Fortunately horizontal sliders and buttons don’t have ears to hear the naysayers!
Thanks for playing <3
Very creative use of minimal assets! Well done! Also fun easter eggs/ extra little tidbits to play around with!
I’m glad you enjoyed the extra tidbits!
Fun game concept. Straight to the point game, straight to the point comment. It does in fact have a horizontal slider and a button, but could use some sound effects/music.
A game like Horizontal Slider and a Button has to deliver on the horizontal slider and a button promise or it’s not an authentic Horizontal Slider and a Button game!
Thanks for playing :)
quite an interesting rage bait game...
not bad by any means thouggh
ha, it was not my intention to bait your rage, btu I’m glad you found it interesting :)
Now you just gotta make the narrator more sarcastic and nonchalant LMAO. I'm curious to see if you will add any more objects on the screen - maybe you can add a red circle that is like a magnet that pulls the Godot image closer to it, or a plant circle that attaches to the Godot image like a rope for a limited time period and you have to find the right time to let go, or maybe some spikes where the Godot picture gets attached to them for a period of time, freezing you in place. Either way, I'm curious to see what you can come up with for future iterations! Good luck with the rest of the game jam, and thank you for playing my game!
I did want to crank the narrator up a bit. My lesson learned from this jam is to lean into my sense of humor. Thanks for playing it <3
Not much in terms of aesthetics, but the gameplay is pretty neat. Solid use of the theme too. Pretty funny how some of the messages when you fail talk smack a bit.
Not sure if this was intentional, but I found level 8 to be easiest to complete by not using the new green obstacles at all. The tutorial text for them also seems to be wrong, describing them as bouncy despite them not being that.
The debug mode is a cute reward for beating the game, though testing the full range of drop points does chug the game.
Neat entry overall.
(p.s. the "all new thing" in level 6 was, in fact, pretty cool)
Thanks for playing, I’m glad you found the all new thing cool <3
You cooked with the idea i love it. Now things u might want to improve the most obvious thing is art secondly audio maybe also had lots of fun in this one Good luck for future entries :3
You bring up fantastic points, but I’m not sure I have the skill to improve over the horizontal slider and the button… they’re almost peak as is.
Precision physics games are always a bit awkward. Learning how someone's physics engine works takes time and can be frustrating since its black box rules. Wasnt a fan that I had to basically hit 0 exactly to pass the level when I was getting within .1 of 0. The game is purely trial and error
That said, I really do think this game has good potential. There are things to improve, was to forcast drop speed and stuff, but overall awesome job for 4 days.
Thanks I’m glad you played <3
It was actually more like 1 day lol, didn’t intend to enter the jam but this got stuck in my head and I had to make it. I’m glad I did, this has been a fun experience.
I’m glad you jumped into it and made something! All the more for a last minute entry!
Hah! I wasn't suspecting that I will like it so much. Sure game could use some assets and sfx and a bit of juice. But positioning godot logo to drop it in a right spot is suprisingly engaging and fun.
I also liked very much that you enable developer tools and the end. Cool little addition.
Good job, have fun with it.
Hahaha, this is nice. having just a slider and a button as the main thing is really unique
Anything more than a horizontal slider and a button is superfluous.
Come on, of course I’m going to play it. Theres a horizontal slider and a button! Also cool level design with the different materials
You know I almost named this game A Button and a Horizontal Slider but that would have been a mistake.
simple but fun, lol
a very simple but fun idea, i like it
Honestly one of my favorite games from the jam. Little annoying at first, but once I got the hang out of, I really enjoyed it. Adding this one to my favorites folder.
Aww, I’m glad you enjoyed it <3
