How does your game fit the theme?
It's an inventory management battler where every item counts down until you can use it or it expires or as it gets stronger. Enemies count down until they do their actions. The shopkeeper counts down until he leaves for the day. The door to the boss counts down until it unlocks. And the bosses have doomsday counters, where, if you let them, they WILL kill you if it counts down.

Very cool concept for a game!
I really enjoyed this! Such a clever idea! Though it took me a while to realise that some items were counting down when they can be used, but others were counting down how many uses they had, or until food spoils. I think maybe having a way to differentiate the style of the different numbers would improve things? Maybe? ^^; ...but yeah brilliant game!
A very original premise, executed quite well. I really enjoyed figuring out how this unusual combat system works. Lovely graphics, nice epic music.
In the interest of constructive feedback, I have only a couple of minor suggestions:
1. The "END TURN" button appears to be unavailable when it is, in fact, available, just not highlighted. I found myself waiting and waiting before I figured this out! :)
2. The current game is not extremely challenging. Understandable, since it's too easy for jam games to fall into the trap of becoming too difficult (that definitely happened to mine).
Good job! I love games with this type of inventory management. Maybe I would have liked it to be a bit tougher, but still a fun challenge!
!!!! Really fun and creative concept!
Wow, great concept! I love how you used the theme, and sorting the backpack is definitely a cool mechanic to combo it with :)
Only note is maybe it's a little too easy, but balancing is obviously hard during a game jam ^^
Great job!
Would love to see it as a steam game someday.
Nice backpack game that fits the theme perfectly !
Favorite game of the jam. Made it to floor 9. I would love for this game to end up as a full release in some way with more items and enemy types.
Great game, definitely one of my favorite jam entries so far. It's pretty easy to steamroll the enemies in this version, and once you get "the build," money and items become kinda useless, but that's just balancing on a 4-day timeline. Sign me up for the full game of this!
A very fun and polished game! I feel like it needs a bit of rebalancing though, as the effect of the clocks can stack it is possible to reduce the timer of most of the game's item to 1. This gets very unbalanced in combination with some item (the kettle for regen and the shield particularly). Still I am very impressed that you managed to do all of this in 4 days!
I had a lot of fun playing this game! It felt well balanced and very unique, and with a very good use of the theme!! Congrats!
Holy moly, is that a peashooter?!
Really well polished game with amazing graphics!
Keep up the good work!
My favorite game so far! Very solid, well done!
Combining Slay the Spire with Resi Evil inventory (Ik thats not where it's from but it's the first thing that I think of) makes for a very unique well-crafted experience! I think it would benefit even more if the countdowns had a tickdown animation of sorts, but for the time frame, this is extremely polished.
Never played backpack hero, but this is very cozy.
Loved it.
I can see it being VERY addictive, if only it had some more juice to its items, like : there being a visible differance between ticking items and useably items, aside from description, stacking items like the cursed axe having some animation play every time they recieve a stack, and the ancient seed having some animation showing what space it wants to occupy would be nice.
Despite all this, it's absolutely great!
What a great concept, this is what game jam are for, amazing job!
The UX has some rough edges and the game needs to balance pass but I spend way too long playing it as is.
Cool way to merge different ideas. Good job! ^^
addictive , fun, and creative. Good job!
