This is AWESOME. Love the aesthetic and overall idea of the game, and I think the only critique I have is that the UI might be a little bit too noisy and detailed. Reading the pop-up text on the left was a bit tricky but that might just be due to the screen resolution on the browser version. Very sick otherwise

Lovely graphics! I would like to see this expanded into a full game, where you could complicate the levels far more!

Very good level design. I like the idea of circular levels. I also like the artstyle, fits well with all the concept

Love the visuals, the pacing of the levels progression is done well, it doesn't get too hard too quick. The corners as healthbars of the shape are super creative, great job on the game!

Cool artstyle!  Funny that we have also discussed an idea of a puzzle twin-stick shooter with time as bullets, but we ultimately landed on a slightly different direction. Your execution was very nice, I am glad someone made this!

Developer

You can thank the artist on both those points! I originally thought it was going to be more of an informational roguelite with each reset giving you more info but the time as resource idea was better! Thank you for playing :D

The styling reminds me a lot of Super Hexagon which is absolutely a great thing, love the little transition details and such, and don't think I've ever seen a "health bar" shown as the number of sides of a shape, which was actually crazy intuitive and smart. Awesome entry!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy to see the shape love, I had lost faith in that mechanic a bit! <3

Really cool concept, visuals were really good too

Developer(+1)

Thank you <3 I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Controls were very smooth and aesthetics were on point! I really like the use of the parallax background to give depth to the visuals!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I'm really happy with the work the artist did!

The game felt smooth and was fun. I really liked the UI! Also, the idea to make the enemies health correspond to the number of sides they had was genius. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words :)

It's funny how the things you shoot at change form every time they're hit (I hear 'ouch', 'oh', 'ah' in my head when I hit them like they were cartoon characters). Good game!

Developer

There was a stage in development I considered recording myself making all the effects, perhaps I should have! Thank you for playing :D

It was a very well-designed and polished puzzle shooter, where everything is simple, limpid and engaging.

The aesthetics are also great, it was fun reading the chat that also teach you mechanics.

On the level introducing the dash, I could go through doors without needing to dash, but it worked fine on the later levels.

Great job, I had fun!

Developer

Thank you so much for you kind words :D

It all came together pretty late so that doesn't surprise me, but if we decide to continue development I'll try and figure it out :)

I like this game a good bit! Sometimes I feel a lot of the time I had was pointless but I might have just gotten lucky haha. The puzzles were fun and the art made what things were quite clear, great game!

Developer(+1)

Originally there was a lot less time per level but my artist has a none existing sense of direction so I had to compensate :D

Just means you're excellent at the game!

Really fun, quick to learn. Really liked the style and the poligons(including the two-sided one).

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)

The puzzles were really fun, it was satisfying to move the character around. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing :) I'm happy to hear you had fun!

wow, this was really interesting and creative. Enjoyed the simple mechanics that made it easy to grasp. The aesthetic were really amazing as well. Great job.

Developer

This was the first time I've actually seen a 2-sided shape :D Or considered that a 2-sided shape. Neat and simple game which was pretty fun to play. The resolution cut off the sides of my screen so I couldn't see the text on the sides while playing unfortunately, but I got the idea!

Developer(+1)

It was that or do a semi circle and the semi circle felt odd for the game!

Ah yeah I was rushing to get builds done and didn't adjust the resolution properly. It should work better fullscreen but one day I'll get it working out of the box :D

I really liked this game. I thought the concepts were really well thought out through and introduced at the right time. The difficulty for me was perfect too. I do wish we could've gotten a view of the entire map right before we start so the runs where you're just guessing where you're going are not necessary but beyond that really fun. Finished the entire game :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, and for your kind words!

I toyed with the idea of an overview but just ran out of time I'm afraid!

fun game! i like how all the shootable enemies and locks' health were represented by the shape's number of sides, clever way to play into the geometric theme.

Developer

Thank you! That was the first thing I implemented! Glad it found some love :)

I like the music; it matches the constant ticking and I like that cohesion. The game feels like more puzzle than shooter and I think you can lean into that more. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! The initial vision was more puzzle than shooter, just ran out of time to get the more puzzley levels together :)

Just a tiny bit frustrating when you get slightly caught on an edge, but overall great use of the theme, nice mechanics, great art style and incredible cover art, well done!
