I enjoyed the art on this one a lot! Especially the game over sequence! I did struggle a bit to tell what color it was giving off at times
A very cool concept! I liked your art , the colors were too similar for me sometimes (especially the dark blue and purple) but I had fun; well done!
Amazing concept, well executed, much like me as I kept falling off the ladder... one of my favourite games this jam, well done!
interesting concept! post processing is a fun look as well!
I really enjoyed this game! It took me quite some time to figure out what to do and to differentiate between all shades of blue and purple (I might have some colorblindness). I liked the art style and the mechanics. Great work!
Really enjoyed this game! The idea of a constantly changing meteor that reacts to things and makes you figure out what it wants before the timer runs out is really interesting. I liked how the game rewards observation and experimentation instead of giving obvious answers. The simple premise, clever execution and tension from the timer make it a surprisingly engaging experience. Nice game, good job!
Well made!
I like the visuals and the eye constantly looking at you is a nice touch.
I... um... don't think that's a meteorite...
Really interesting premise! I accidently fell into The Meteor's mouth while trying to feed it for the first time XD
Keep up the good work!
Love this concept. Nice 3d art. I`ve enjoyed thank you!
An enjoyable game! It was pretty fun to run around the meteor and do what it wants
Although there's kinda smth off with the colors (I didn't get which of the colors is shown, so I got to choose the correct one only by experementation, idk if it was a part of your plan)
The artsyle and audio are truly good, and the actions you can take have a lot of creativity
Great job!
This game looks really great. Kinda reminds me of like Half Life 1. I sucked at differentiating the colors but it's a cool concept done well nice job
how is the meteor addicted to cigarettes?? who gave the meteor cigarettes in the first place??? whose idea was this????
great concept, amazing game :)
You know, scientists like to experiment a lot
Played on stream! Great game!!
Sorry! My friend rewatched the moment where you were playing our game, and noticed that you did not save the rating🥺
"So... would you describe yourself as more of a lime green or an unripe lemon green?"
I'd love to help this guy, we're just having a little trouble with communication.
This freaking meteor is such a diva it drives me nuts. Really interesting and unsettling game with a great atmosphere and visual style. I enjoyed putting together the puzzle of figuring out how to take care of *it*. Love it.
I love the art and meteor animation!! Agree with others I had some trouble figuring out my next task, but the idea and game feel are definitely there.
Great concept, and lovely presentation! Kinda weird gameplay. I understand that the "meteorite" changes colour according to what it wants, but giving it what it wants seems to explode it anyway sometimes? I think the main problem is that I can't distinguish the colours well enough. Seems like a few different channels of communication would work well. It's quite expressive as a character, you could have augmented the colour messages with what it does with its eyes, how fast it's shaking, is it pulsing vertically, shrinking and growing...
I never got to the end of the time limit without blowing it up by accident at first. I realise that's just to satisfy the theme, but I'd still have appreciated an option to turn it off. I dislike being arbitrarily put under time pressure. It stops my critical thinking and makes me panic the first few times! Only on my third run did I actually examine the environment for clues.
Also, for us old guys, we'd appreciate an option to invert the mouse controls for look up/down. When I first started FPS gaming in the mid 90's, the norm was completely opposite to what it is today. I spent half of my time in your game looking straight up or straight down! I mean, you have a settings menu, and it's just an "if (inverted) look the opposite way", right?
I hope I haven't over-criticised above. I actually rated you very highly, despite my niggles. I'm hugely impressed at what you've achieved in just 4 days...
Fulfilling all the absurd requests for the meteorite while scrambling against the clock makes for such a fun and hilarious game loop!
My first instinct was to jump into the hole.
Then it requested a lot of watermelon and cigarettes, followed by brainrot, more cigarettes, and… “Insult”s
It’s just like me fr!
Hahaha, relatable
Amazing entry! I love how you created such a great environment and mechanics.
I love how you made the mechanic of blowing up
Yep, I tried to jump into the hole :D
Congratulations on your submission!
