Great idea, simple and addictive! I’d love to see it developed further!

Really addicting I did it in 244s, I think I'm going to try again.

Update: 136s

I always enjoy a number go up kind of game. I was wondering how you managed to have so many darts on screen at the same time.
I thought that the monkeys were useless but if you get enough of them they are overpowered.
I know it was probably challenging to handle that many darts on screen at the same time but there's a point where there are so many darts that the game starts deleting the old darts before they can reach the board and they don't fill the screen as much. Would be nice if they filled the screen even if there were less actual darts on screen. Would have felt more satisfying. Cool game!

Yeah honestly was quite proud of the way I handled these darts. The whole game actually essentially just employs embedded systems paradigms, I have a million dart slots all layout out in a particular way memory wise, and then I just sequentially use them. I definitely could have had them going to the bottom if I rendered them slightly differently skipping more evenly would have kept a percentage of them visibly falling. I ended hp having to decide it was just not worth when we still needed more assets n' things.

Yeah game jams force us to choose our battles. It's just not enough days to do everything we wanted.

Fun concept, I like the art style. Great work, congrats on finishing your game in time!

Short and sweet incremental, I won in 180 seconds! Took me a second to realize what the upgrades were doing but nice job overall.

at first I was like "man this game is not that good"

as it went on, I was like "yeah, its pretty fun"

as you get more into the game, the gameplay becomes more rewarding and satisfying!
good clicker game :)

Honestly I had a pretty similar experience as we worked on the game, had a point where it kinda just clicked. Glad you had fun!

That snowball effect after getting a couple of monkeys was so sweet lmao. Really cool concept and execution though, my only feedback would be the ability to aim the monkeys, or have them aim at the triple 20 instead of bullseye already

Great game! Congrats

Pretty cool flip on the clicker genre to have it countdown. I got a little bit confused at the start at what I was supposed to do, but as soon as it clicked it ended up being quite a fun and addictive 220 seconds of my life!

Surprisingly addictive! Took a little time to figure things out, but got 1 mil at 216 seconds! Fun little game. I liked it a lot

I thought that it would be crazy to do one million, but it really ramped up and you get really into it. I really enjoyed it, and it was so cute to see the monkey focus actually making it smaller. Would also echo someone elses comment about having points per click or per monkey stat! But overall, really neat addictive game!

Short but really satisfying and addictive gameplay, also the game blending with the page background is just too brilliant of an idea.

One thing I'd like to see if the game was longer is definitely Points Per Click and Points per Monkey stats.

Overall really cool game and the art tyle is coherent too.

At first i was like "One million???" but the game went so quickly. It's extremely satisfying and i wish there was more goals to it, like a billion darts :3

Submitted

Satisfying to have so many monkeys throwing my darts so quickly.

good game, but after a while it gets repetetive. i really love the game, just imrpove the art

Submitted

i enjoyed this incremental a lot! the darts were satisfying to throw and i liked the small fact that it could start immediately after loading the page, i don’t think there’s any negatives that come to mind right now

Submitted

I'm so confused but I beat it
