fun arcade game and clever application of the theme!

Fun little reaction time game, Feels like it would be right at home on newgrounds/miniclip!

Pretty simple yet fun idea, I don't remember my exact high score but it was 11 thousand something

Also I used the exact same vampire sprite in my game too lmao (it appears at the end)

Cool word play haha! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D

Clever interpretation of the theme

Wow - not a lot of time to react. You need super fast reflexes to get very far!

That said, I loved the challenge (and the pixel art) and played for quite a while. Great job!

Not a bad little endless faller. Fast-paced and intuitive.

I was a little confused at first because I didn't realize there are only three positions (left, center, and right). I kept trying to navigate between two crosses where I thought there was room.

Since the player dies so often, the fast restart time is great; being able to restart by tapping a key would be even better.

Music would have been nice, also.

There is music in the game, but there was an issue with looping it. Thanks for playing!

Really cute and easy to understand game! Although I feel like there could be a bit more screen space to react to the crosses in time, and maybe the game could be centered, with the castle wall just being visible on the edge. Still very fun!

Crisp and easy is the best way I can describe this, the side to side movement feels really good and it’s super simple to just pick up and go.

Looks like we both took the Count in the same direction :) I made it down to 5269 meters, not sure how that stacks up against everyone else.

One thing that tripped me up at first, I didn’t quite understand the three lane options for movement until I got going. Small thought too, it might be nice if everything could be handled from the keyboard, something like R for Try Again, just to keep your hands where the action is.

How deep is the deepest run you’ve seen so far?

A simple game, but a fun one! Well done! :3

I see we also had a similar interpretation of "countdown." Cool game!

5008 score

it would have been nice if the bat moved to the next spot instead of teleporting, but nice game anyway

Simple, yet fun. Nice job!

It's a nice simple game. Good job!

I really like it! A count going down is a genius take on the theme, the game is simple to understand and replayable, which is a perfect combination. I think maybe it could go a little faster after a while, cause I had like a 5 minute run where I felt like I could go forever without losing (unfortunately I had to sneeze so the run ended xD). Shaw!

Cool submission. My high score was 4843!

Could us a bit more progression, maybe it could start slower and get faster as you go on. Thanks for submitting

Developer

It does get faster slowly, maybe I could make the change more noticeable. Thanks for playing my game!

Nice little game

Very simple game, but was quite tough to play, even at the beginning.  Game could do with more variety.

It's a good start.
