I had an idea that was super similar to this and made a prototype! I was actually planning on possibly making it for the lowrezjam. If i had any feedback It would be that when you click isn't always on beat, and it feels awkward for a rhythm game.
(If you want I can send you a video of my take on a pop the lock rhythm game, I don't have a link and don't wanna post it on youtube lol)

THIS IS SO FKING COOOOL!!!!! This game is the definition of funnnnn! I mean even if i missed some beats, it gives me little grace area so i can smash the beats and continue the fun!!!!! I just love it! Very well done!

Interesting take on the rhythm game genre. I imagine count down is pretty much a core aspect to a rhythm game considering songs last a duration, so I can safely say that it fits the theme. It was a bit uncomfortable to the eyes though, especially when hitting the bars that switch the direction, or change the head, of the spinny thingy. But i think for a rhythm game it does work.
I am curious though, do the bars you have to hit match with the music in any way? Because I did try to use the music to maybe gauge when to click, but I don't think I got far with that... though maybe that might just be skill issue on my part.
THIS IS AWESOME! It took me a few tries to realize it lines up perfectly most times if you just hit it on the beat of the music, which is really cool! Also the VFX are GREAT
I did 68%. Simple, enjoyable and beautiful.
The music is great! I would've loved to see my score and had combo multipliers or something to aim for. I wasn't entirely sure how well I was doing. I think I was doing awful by just spamming, but I ended up at 68%, which I don't think is too bad
I usually really suck at this kind of games, but this one was surprisingly easier for me to pick up (axcept when the rotation flips, that always gets me off guard). amazing game!

I was vibing the entire time! I love that you can select the music too! It was a great enjoyable game to try out! It also followed the countdown theme in a great and creative manner! The gameplay was addicting and I absolutely loved playing the game! You did a genuinely great job!
Amazing visuals! A certain youtuber will love the CRT effect lol. I would've liked to see how I was doing (some kind of score/multiplier visual) while I was playing though.

Fast paced arcade game that rewards quick reflexes! My only piece of feedback is that It can get a bit awkward when your direction is flipped, although there were times where I accidentally pulled off cool combos with it. Maybe something like a short pause with visual feedback when the bar is flipped would help?

I absolutely loved the audio work in this game! I'm usually not a big fan of rhythm games, but this one was really, really satisfying!
