As others have said the idea seems very interesting but I had absolutely no clue what was going on ahah! just add a tutorial and this can be fire! well done :)
There is good potential in this concept. I think it might be good to "tutorialise" the mechanics by ramping up with each flower type and how to manage them. Nice work :)
Love the idea! Unfortunately, I have no clue how to actually pass the exam.
This is such a cool concept and neat style! I think the game has a lot of potential. Maybe reduce the complexity - at least at the very start. Have the player start with a totally empty lot, and then play cards to plant the seeds and do the watering. Making the player build the garden from scratch would give them more of a connection to the garden, and also have them enjoy slowly discovering all the nice plant pixel art as the plants grow.
Top notch design of the ui, background, cards and plants.
Yes, after the jam i like to expand the idea more, and reduce the complexity, i think i don't explain very well its each plant have a max on point that can gain, and it's pointless put more resources if the cap of that plant its reached( the green bar in each plant), i want to remove this cap and others changes for more easy experience.
I think it’s got potential. It looks entertaining, but I can’t quite work out how to win. It needs more detailed instructions or a tutorial to guide you a bit.
Agreeing with most other comments, cool game but I do not have the brain cells to comprehend it xd
As others have said, this games kinda confusing. An ingame tutorial would have helped, but this game is decently polished nontheless, which i appreciate.
definitely confused by the rules. there were many runs where I lost immediately after taking one action. would be helpful if there was more reaction from each plant type on each turn to explain what went well/wrong.
Thanks for the feedback, and the lose after take one action its a mistake of my part, i export a game where its a level that have only 1 turn of action.
Really confusing, sorry… even after I figured out how to play I felt like it wasn’t really easy to know if a given pattern was even possible it felt really RNG The idea is super cool though! I’d love to see a more fleshed out version of this game where you have more choice over what plants you grow and what spells you have at a given time.
Little confused on how to play, but was pretty fun.
It felt really challenging, but otherwise it was really great!
Cute little game, I love the pixel art and how cute it is, I had a very good laugh when instead of "game over" i got a "You no pass the exam"
Nice art, the game looks really polished!
I like the idea of the game, but as many others have pointed out, a lack of instructions on how the game works maked it very difficult to figure out what to do!
Great job with the visuals!
Nice idea the artwork looks very nice but the gameplay was confusing at first, would be better if you added a tutorial.
Same suggestion as others have already said - some kind of tutorial would be nice. Interesting idea though!
This was challenging to understand, but I liked trying to puzzle my way through.
I find this very confusing, but I think this has potential!
I think some tutorial with feedback could be helpful.
Interesting concept, although I found it a bit confusing at first. Good job!
