We have had similar ideas! This game is outrageously charming and definitely gives me inspiration on how I could improve my own game! Fantastic job!
This game has good physics and a wide variety of levels. Good job and I hope my last-minute review helps you!
Nice game, I don't have to use ruler to play this game because you already built it in. Love it mate, well done for the game jam <3
Very cool game the art is so good. If you have a second, I’d super appreciate a rating back on my game The Last Light
Insanely cool 2000s-era flash games vibes!
Really fun! Last level took me quite a while but very satisfying to play and nice take on the theme. Good job!
This is one of the most fun games I’ve played in this jam. The controls feel smooth and it’s really easy to pick up. I love it a lot.
Really fun! I had trouble with the parts with thin paths but thats just me, I loved just blazing through levels with full charge
This fever dream feels like a game.
Such a brilliant mechanic, and incredibly well fleshed out with challenging level design, and even multiple worlds! Likely one of the best games I've played this jam. Brilliant work!
Managed to beat all the levels. Haven't collected any of the apples though. This has been really fun.
I feel like for now there is no downside to hold the mouse button down again as soon as you hit the ball. Perhaps it would reward more precise timing if you lose strength for slowing down the time for too long or if there is a limit to how long you can slow down time? But that might make the game more difficult that it already is.
Still, the way it is, it's already a very enjoyable game. Great work!
Holding down the mouse button immediately after hitting the ball is the intended way of playing haha. I've seen some players not discover that strategy, and they couldn't make it past the second level. I sure wouldn't be able to.
It's fun, but definitely lives up to its name and can be pretty hard.
Ultimate Strokemaster was my nickname in high school
This game is awesome, the controls feel absolutely great, the music is really well chosen for putting me in a flowstate, and all the visuals are weird and wonderful, don't really know what else to say, damn good job. I only wish i could jump gaps to save strokes sometimes cause it'd be really dumb and really fun
This might be my favorite game of the entire jam! I love your premise. The gameplay feels fantastic, partially due to the phenomenal sound design and partially due to how responsive the swap in between slowed time and fast time is. I love all the absurd BS going on in the levels, the turtle killed me. My only feedback is that it bugged me a tiny bit that the reticle didn't lose any of its length when hitting out of a bunker, it might it slightly harder to measure those shots. I had tons of fun though! I hope you make more levels for this game and release it as a stand alone, I would play the hell outta it :)
That last level is absolutely diabolical btw
Very cool!
This is my favorite game so far! The concept seems like it wouldn't have much to offer, but your execution is perfect!
This game is "golf, but I can do anything." By breaking the basic rules of golf, it enables much more creative level design. The visuals look simple, but they're perfect for this game, and the instant replay really emphasizes how much I messed around with the golf. Also, the sound design is really good. I had a great time vibing with the music while playing. This is a 10/10 game for me.
That last level is brutal. I almost gave up so many times, but I finally managed to beat it.
Congrats on the last level, you're the second or third recorded person to have done it.
this is my favourite game ive played in this jam so far, and by a LOT. it caught my eye real quick because of the aesthetic, i love the (i suppose) vaporwave inspired statues and real life objects, music was great too, but then the gameplay hooked me so much, this is the most interesting golf/pool game ive ever played and the bounciness of the ball and mechanics reminded me so much of Nubbys Number Factory (i dont know if it was an inspiration). as many have pointed out, last level is bordeline psychotic haha, couldnt manage to beat it, but everything else was perfect! when i saw that the implementation of the theme was just a timer on the levels i thought it was gonna feel like a cheap excuse to fit the theme, but since you get to slow down time theres actually time manipulation and more that goes into it, it really is a core mechanic that holds the game all together. keep up the good work!
Considering the fact that I just bought nubby's number factory a couple weeks ago and have been playing it religiously ever since, I think it's very possible that I was subconsciously inspired by it. As for the last level, I've only done it a couple times myself. It was originally supposed to only be the first part, a victory lap of sorts, but then I decided that it would be funnier if the last level was impossible.
Looks like a fever dream, strange and fascinating at the same time. It was fun, and the replay is really a good idea. Wasn't able to finish the game tho, the last level of the second world (which I suppose is the last level of the game) is really, REALLY hard. I thought you had blessed us with an easy level, I was tricked :-( Great job!
Awesome take on golf! love the gameplay, pretty satisfying too. I do wish that the texts on the tutorial, and the timer can be seen better (maybe a different color and add borders?). Overall, Nice Job!
I really enjoyed this one. I think I managed to get trhough the levels pretty quickly, though I kept losing to the ones you have to be very precise cause I like going fast . Also very fun and fits the theme
