Glad I got to rate this gem just before the voting countdown ended.

I won in my first run by creating and infinite combo with a “tick: back time” and two “tick: add durability” cards. So satisfying to see the clock ticking without fully grasping why. I would definitely play this if you turn it into a full game (this is a great fit for mobile!).

Congrats on your submission :)

Fascinating game, with beautiful art design and intriguing gameplay -- well done!

Actually very love the artstyle of the game!!

It's rude to force someone to sit down and play their game for over an hour >:(. Jokes aside, I am BLOWN AWAY at the quality of this game! If I could grade it higher than 5 stars I would! Everything about it is incredible, from the art to the gameplay to the atmosphere. I would spend upwards of 5 minutes on big turns calculating exactly what would happen for each card and how I could stay ahead of the ever-imposing 12:00!

insanely cool. cant fathom how yall managed so quick!

Wow, this is SUPER polished, hard to believe it came from a 4-day jam!  Great sound, art, easy to understand the rules but difficult to master.  Genuinely impressive work!

Very atmospheric and amazing art work!

Wow, this game is really really cool! I like your take on the theme and it was fun comboing the cards. The atmosphere is also really good and I like the inscryption-like panning to see the opponent's face. I managed to win on my first try!

VFX was amazing, very interesting gameplay mechanics, and the art was also great!

Really awesome and fun deckbuilding game.  Super creative to have the cards played on clock hand changes. The music and sound effects really added to the atmosphere. I love the creepy clock guy you are playing against. It's cool you had time to add stats. Everything was very responsive and clear with the on hover. Only thing is the full screen cut off the card info on the left and it was hard to play cards in the 5, 6, 7 slot because your hand was in the way. But these were minor inconveniences in a wonderfully fun game. Fantastic job!

It's just a little bit rough around the edges, but once you get the combos and upgrades rolling it's great. My first run took 35 flippin' minutes to beat, which felt really long for a game jam game (I felt it was too long before I got my time groove on). Super good job!

Amazing take on the concept and really novel execution on the card playing roguelike genre. I feel like most devs that would try developing a game with this concept would fall flat. You should definitely consider making a full release, but please change the name of the game (big ben is kind of silly). Tracking/counting the motions of the hands is quite awkward, and some of the resulting interactions were unintuitive (or buggy, its hard to tell).  For example, my cards seemed to be destroyed out of the order they were ticked in. Minor nitpick is that the cards go to high when you hover over them. Great game!

Once you start understanding the mechanics, this is genuinely so sick. Getting back to back chains of taking off 2+ hours per turn is so much fun. Winning run took about 20 minutes so game is also a very good length. I also love the art direction here, the clock-character design of Ben looks so cool. The audio all sets the atmosphere spectacularly.

Amazing game.

Thank you! I can't put into words how much this means to us, also, thank you for the compliment on the art, it was so much fun making it :3

Also, your game looks awesome, will definitely give it a try like right now haha :)))

Really cool idea and great execution! I love the vibe, the audio and the music, along with the brain teaser. I would definitely love to see more of this, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, it means a lot, truly <3

Woah this was awesome!!!

Definitely Inscryption vibes, with the SFX and music choice, but that's not a complaint, that game is awesome! The art is amazing, I love big ben, the ticking sounds, the artwork for the cards and clock! The balancing is a little bit off, but that's expected for a game jam game. It feels amazing to do a big combo and see the clock hand tick back and forth hitting mine and big ben's cards. It also has a lot of space for skill expression in the card building aspect and being good at counting time with clocks. I'm impressed by the quality of the game design. It also implements the theme of the jam really well.

Amazing stuff

Thanks for this  amazing comment!! I'm so glad you like it!! We played your game and it's so cool!! It reminded me of Froggy G from Awesomenauts! (Check it out)

It' so good idea and realisation! But there’s something odd about the difficulty, the only one way to end the game, that i find, to keep upgrading hand and end game in 1-2 turns. And it feels strange

This game was super fun! The audio was super good.

Thank you! We love our audio designer, he is a sweetheart :)

This was fantastic! It's soo satisfying when you setup a big chain reaction and it works out. You did a really good job on this one!
