Struggling on the 7th puzzle, TBH I don't really get it. Otherwise, it looks pretty fun.

Neat game! Very well made. The minimal retro style number puzzle is so matching. It's nice to be reliving our childhood again ヾ(≧▽≦*)o

Very nice, and ingenious, puzzle game! I'm not the best at them, but I can tell this was very creatively made.

Thank you, this really keeps me going.

Fun puzzle. I liked that each level added something to the puzzle

So glad you had fun with it, thanks for playing!

Lots of cool twists on the original formula! Admittedly I spent a lot of time just trying to beat the first level over and over again setting the timer as low as 2 seconds.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Level 2 gives you a hint about that :)

Very interesting game! Too big brain for me but I love the overarching concept and where I could see it going. Hope you can check out my game too!

Developer

Glad you picked up on that! I've got more than 10 puzzles that got cut from the final build. Of course I will, gonna go play yours now.

wow, fun game.

I was even able to do the first 3 levels in less then 7 seconds, other levels are... more difficult.

Developer

Thanks for playing! You're right, the plan was to ease people in and then raise the difficulty gradually, but fitting that into just 8 puzzles was harder than I expected. Appreciate the comment!

Great concept and game! I especially liked the digit-flipping one; that one was a very nice touch. The twist at the end was nice too. Level 7 was tricky; at first I did this:

738
512
64

the logic being that the 3-1-4 and 5-1-2 add to eight (ATE) and the 8-2 and 6-4 add to TEN. I was definitely overthinking it, but there’s a puzzle there somehow. I’m glad that there was a challenge even for people like me who can do small sliding puzzles somewhat quickly.

I knew about the ate/eight pun, but I never thought of the answer you found. If I'd hidden a clue tying cat to 18 (7-3-8) somewhere, that would've been so elegant. Not overthinking at all, you just spotted something I didn't. Thanks a ton for playing to the end!

i'm so bad at sliding games that 9:59 time limit was wasn't enough.

game feels very solid, specially for first entry! nice work!

Developer

Thanks! It was originally designed as a 4x4 puzzle, and a lot of the step by step tutorial got cut along the way, so I think that's why it comes across as difficult.

I think this idea is really good. I like the way you did the level select and visually it's quite nice. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but there was no audio in the game, but otherwise it's a nice submission.

I just suck a lot at this kind of puzzle

Great job :)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, sound didn't make it in because I was busy fixing a major bug. Bummed about that one too.

Final Stage made me to think harder and redo previous stages.

stage 7 was difficult, but after solving it, it becomes really helpful at the end.

Brilliant work!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing all the way through. Really glad it landed the way I intended.
