How does your game fit the theme?
There is an inevitable confession coming towards you. however, women are scary. You must delay the countdown as long as you can to mentally prepare yourself.

This game need more rating!! The Artwork is just godly Love!!!
I didn't manage to do delay more than one or two minutes, but the concept is very interesting and the art is gorgeous, congratulations :)
This looks really fun but I can't play on Linux :')
I love this game. This is immersive, like stepping into another world. And I'm really into story-driven games where the player’s choices shape the story. The art is amazing, and the storyline feels complete—imagine how much work went into it! The camera movement and perspective transitions are also very smooth.
I tried many times, but I only made it to 15:04 and have no idea how to get through the the last one minute. I couldn't figure out how to enter the Department Store, and where to find scissors. Although I didn't reach the end, this is definitely worth to play.
By the way, I encountered a camera bug during one of the playthroughs. After answering the professor’s questions and leaving the classroom, the camera became locked onto the gym guy and could barely move. It could only shift when conversations with other characters were triggered automatically. I didn’t encounter this issue in my other attempts, maybe you can take a look at it.
Hi thank you so much for your kind words!
The department store seems to be a relatively common point of confusion. We didn't have time to draw the clerk which probably is a contributor. However, you're just supposed to interact through the window on the left of the door.
The camera bug is known. however, I haven't yet implemented a solution for it. It all stems from the camera system using a stack, and when dialogue is entered, it will add a new position to the stack. However, if the dialogue is interrupted before it ends, that position stays in the stack so after the classroom scene it will go back to whatever conversation you were in.
Oh, I see! I did wonder if that part just hadn’t made it into the game yet. Still, I think the story feels quite complete overall. I’m not sure how the camera issue could be fixed either, but it doesn’t seem to happen very often thankfully!
Art is crazy. The home screen design is the most beautiful thing on earth. 2D and 3D blend works pretty well. Only tiny thing is that the camera angle shifting needs a bit refinement if got more time.
I like the narratives and interactions with NPCs. Main character also feels alive in his reactions to stuff. Wish to play more!
I like your game a lot, it's prob one of the best I've played so far ! I just wished there was an option to "quickload" from when you start walking with Lilly. I also feel bad for the gym guy :/
the art is amazing, it's very cute!
I'll just quote a famous ytber "Some men drown while others die of thirst"
The artwork is so good!! theres so much interaction and things to do in this game. I also like the 2d and 3d blend of this game.
Thank you so much! I love your game too!
Sooo many art assets. I feel like this has way fewer reviews than it deserves.
I loved the various interactions and options, and the premise is funny too! That girl is scary!
Thank you! It means a lot to hear someone call it underrated.
OMG AMAZING ARTWORKK!!!!HARD to imagine how your artist made it in just 96 hrs......also love the effect of the font (the shaking effect was adorable! I used to want to make one in our games but I dont think we have time to do VFX stuff :( )
Thank you! Our artist only had to pull like.. one all nighter? It's amazing to see how much he was able to do.
Also, I still need to play your game, but if you were using Godot, you can use the built-in effects for rich text labels. That's how I got the shaking effect.
Really like your art . Are your characters made by Y-billboard?
Thank you so much! Yes the characters are made using a Y-billboard. It can often be a bit hard to get the 2d sprites to blend in the 3d environment, but using a post-process shader really seemed to blend them together!
I am not sure how to delay the storyline progress. I tried 3 times, with the last resulting in a game crash.
The art style is very nice, I especially love the main menu!
The 2d in 3d movement is interesting, the camera seems to be having some issues on stairs =), it was fun to explore the school while fighting the camera.
An interesting take on the theme.
I think I found some bugs:
- If you keep the spacebar pressed the chat options get pressed automatically and you don't get to see your choice.
- The crash at the third run, that I already mentioned
- Also this may be a nitpick more than a bug but, when I pressed return to main menu from settings there seems to be a huge loading, probably the game gets reset.
Good job making such a good looking submission!
Thank you so much for taking the time to play and leave a review! The story progression is a bit of a puzzle that you're supposed to piece together over multiple tries by completing miniature "quests" with each of the students and optimizing a route to get it all done in time. You're also supposed to think a bit differently in the fact that you're not looking to "win", you're looking for the option that wastes the most time. Also, I'm sorry about the game crash, unfortunately there are definitely a couple bugs that we were unable to iron out.
Thank you for the compliment on the art. My teammate (the artist) did an amazing job with it and I couldn't be happier, and yeah, he insisted on having a parallaxing main menu.
Yeah, the camera does have some issues that I weren't able to iron out in time.
Thanks for telling me about these bugs, here's what I can say on them:
- The spacebar pressing dialogue options automatically is a bit of the problem. I could've maybe added a bit of a delay timer before options could be pressed, but I feel that would also be a bit annoying because it would replace an optional wait (simply going through the dialogue slower) with a forced wait (replying.)
- Yeah the crash is an issue. If you don't mind, could you tell me the conditions of how it happened?
- That is definitely a bug and one that is known. The menus and everything is the game gets handled by preloads. However, for some reason I couldn't preload to main menu again after loading into one of the sub menus. I spent a bit of time trying to fix it until deciding itprobably wasn't big enough of an issue to spend that much time on.
Thank you for your long reply!
I understood that I have to choose options that delay time but no matter what I did, I got the same outcome.
Said yes/no to the girl -> same outcome
Went left/right to the roof -> same outcome
Won/lost rock-paper -> same outcome
In the end I only delayed like 1 minute.
Mby it is something I am doing wrong, but it doesn't seem like there is any other option.
I even tried assuming that this is like a 4th wall kind of thing and I waited a few minutes irl, that didn't work either =D
If you have a video playthrough of the game, I can watch it and tell you where I got stuck.
Your teammate doesn't seem to be added as a collaborator to the game. Or mby I am blind?
For your next jams you should do that (if that is the case).
"he insisted on having a parallaxing main menu" in his place I would have done that as well XD
Oh I see.
I won't give away too much but... Don't go straight to class. There's a reason why you get to control movement at that part.
I don't have a video playthrough as of yet. It would also be spoilers to show as it would show puzzle solutions.
My team mate was added as a collaborator earlier today.
I tried exploring the school before going to class, but that didn't really change anything. Mby I just didn't notice the difference.
Did you talk/interact with anyone or anything?
No, I tried to, but it didn't seem like they wanted to interact/talk with me =))
I simply went and did a full loop of the school.
The silhouetted characters are just there to visuals. The ones that are unique and colored do speak though.
I thought so, do they have a specific order in witch I have to talk to them?
Cuz I tried speaking to some characters and nothing happened.
I am not sure if it was a bug or if I did something wrong.
Well there is technically an optimal order to talk to them, but they should all have dialogue no matter what. As long as you make sure that you actually walk into them and press space bar it'll interact and begin dialogue.
This was a wonderful experience! I think maybe the 5 minute countdown was a little too close, but it worked out well if you know what you're doing. Sadly the game fails at explaining everything to players that don't know the game very well which can harm it a bit!
Some custom music for this game would have really rocketed it forward as well, but it was still a really good overall game! Phenomenal stuff guys!
Thank you!!
I personally don't think the 5 minute countdown was all too bad. As you said, if you know what you were doing it'll work out. This game Requires you to learn how to optimize over a couple attempts in order to make it in time. In a bit of testing I had found that you're still able to reach the "true" ending even with failing a whole minigame which I decided was enough leeway. However, I do still understand your point and that yeah it could be a bit frustrating to get so close but still fail.
I did want a sense of ambiguity on what the players were supposed to do as they were supposed to piece it together over multiple attempts, so I didn't want the game to explain much. However, I will admit that it was supposed to be a bit more clear as I wanted to implement a kind of indicator when you can talk/interact with something. It is probably a bit unclear without it, but I just didn't have time unfortunately.
Yeah, I think music could've been great, but we wanted to keep this game jam as just people we know, and we don't really know many musicians. Maybe we'll try for one another time!
Thank you for playing through our game and leaving a kind comment!
Amazing art, though I'm not sure I fully understand how to delay the countdown and wich effect this would have on the storyline. Woman are scary 😅.
art is sooo good!! love it!
Really impressive Art, i like the shader and how the 2D is implemented in the 3D environments.
Thank you for much for taking the time to play and leave a comment! I tried out your game as well and I love how charming it is!
I love how creatively you interpreted the theme! As someone who's never played a dating sim, this felt like a really good bite-sized introduction to the genre that also draws comedic potential from other relatable sources. The dialogue all reads authentically. Great job!
Also Mr. Wilson is so hot.
