HELLO!

This is for all of you who have commented so far. We've read every single comment twice, and we just want to say a huge thank you for all the support, amazing feedback, and kind words!!

We'll definitely be making bug fixes and other changes in a post-jam version.

I'm going back to rating other games now, so bye! :D

This is INCREDIBLEE, one of the most, if not the most, addictive games out there in this jam!

I'm extremely surprised by how polished and great you have done in such a limited amount of time. The animations, the gameplay, the mechanics, the graphics, the effects, and everything else are just...chef kiss

Perfect!

this is a fantastic one!!! very polished, great idea, and the visuals are great! my favorite part about it really is the visuals, you did a great job at making everything feel stylish and satisfying, especially the dialogue text animations and the time selection part with the clock, that’s so good!!!

if i had to give criticism there were only a couple of things i can think of: 1 is that there was a switch thing on the wall at some point and it wasn’t really clear that i needed or even could interact with it, so i lost a lot of time on that. 2 is a bit similar to 1 but i wasn’t sure which walls were doors, which were walls and which were breakable. both of these things can be frustrating considering the idea is doing everything as perfect as you can first try

also a nitpick is that the concept of doing it faster than you estimated being considered bad by the game was a lil off to me at first as it didn’t make sense to me, but it’s honestly not a big deal at all

again, great job on this one, big win!!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback!
about 2. the design behind it is to protect the core idea - You need to countdown in your head precisely
also if it will not punish the player you could guess Max time and always make it faster, and we didnt want the players to cheese the game and not count in their heads

hope it exlains the proccess behind this decision
and again, Thank you so so much for the amazing words and support

ohh yeah that makes sense, you’re right! the only trouble i can think of is that it can be slightly cheese-able by killing everything first, leaving one enemy alive then waiting the countdown before finishing them off if you set it too high, but if that happens it also communicates to the player that they could’ve just done a shorter time instead, so everything checks out!

again, amazing job on this one, i hope i wasn’t too harsh, just hoped to be helpful!

and because of what you siad we removed the countdown display around room 7 so players will have hard time doing it.
I think if you play like this and manage to count down from 20 correctly is pure skill and this is what the game is about

your comment is not harsh AT ALL, I loved your comment<3
I just wanted to give you the background behind the decision

Submitted(+1)

exactly!!! room 7 removing the countdown display felt like such a genius move because it solved that exact problem, and it made the previous levels feel more like a tutorial, which was perfect!

this game is so peak

I feel like the slash was too hard to hit, but that could just be skill issue. I didn't play the golden eye miami or whatever this game takes inspiration from so maybe it's different there

Really cool idea making you guess how long you think you'll take to beat each stage, the narrative went along with that very well and the art was also amazing!

Although the controls could've been a bit tighter and I wish the door were just that little bit wider, I kept getting caught trying to go through them

Great game! Reminded me of Katana Zero! The shaders and lights used were great, really added to the vibe! Congrats

It was one of the best interpretations of the theme. In terms of visuals and sound, it is definitely among my favorites.

I have nothing to say that everyone else hasn’t already. Excellent concept with a perfect execution. Everything feels super sleek and polished. Well done!

This should win. Please make this a full game and release on steam! Such a unique use of the theme and literally everything about the game is so cool and well executed and polished

Submitted(+1)

Wow this is amazing, the gameplay was so fun and executed perfectly and the artstyle is awesome.

Great work!

Really loved the concept and the execution! Everything feels so polished. This is definitely one of my favorites so far. I had so much fun completing it. 5/5!

Beautiful game! Very interesting also the planning phase  where you need to define the time you will use to complete the area. It reminds me something about hitman! Please continue it after the Jam

Had fun playing this on stream !!

An easy straight 5's. I've no idea what witchcraft and sacrifices were needed to bang out something so polished, fun, creative, and on-theme as this. Honestly on the level of full-fat releases. The little reflection of the elevator as it descends, the SFX, the little transitional animation details, the sheer balls to ask the player to not only complete a level, but on their own schedule. Like a cerebral Hotline Miami. Incredible and I hope this is a featured title.

As an aside, crazy cool shaders used here.

This was so much fun. Managed to clear 27 floors 😎

I'd love to see some updates after the jam has ended!

10/10 from me. Its like a steam release. If it had procedural maps it would be endless. I have nothing bad to say about. I like the shooter genre. This is soo polished with such a great art style and matches the theme really well. Its super creative too with how you can choose time and it will effect your total time. I was going great until the last too which were taking longer than expected. Amazing game!
