Very inventive idea for a Game, its pretty engaging trying to find the optimal combo. However it does get a bit tiring after a while. Good art and audio.

Visuals looked very polished. I liked trying to find the ideal combo and stacking "two numbers are the same" chip.

Neat idea! Made me interested to think about what possible cards would show up, although I wish I got to see the different options more often to make some more crazy combos. Really polished little idea, well done! Spent longer than I want to admit playing heheh

Ver nice one !!

Nice game, could really use some more synergies. It looks so clean, and the sounds are good. It took be a bit under 20 minutes, unfortunately, I only got leftmost 0 right at the start, and toward the end stuff like all digits the same, where if that was the case I had already won. So it's mostly missing some balancing and synergies. Fun Game!!

Interesting game.

Did not go down to 00:00 but the base game is here. Combo that would greatly decrease the number at once would be interesting. And maybe permanent modifiers. In this case, maybe start higher.

unique and addicting reallt long game for a game jam submision good job

Great game!!

Managed to beat the game in ~20 mins, mostly took advantage of upgrades that gave me more frequent buffs (eg use the odd/even ones a lot, and then the leftmost=0 one later). Does feel like there’s a lot of troll upgrades (eg jackpot or max sum), so didn’t really have to change my upgrades around that much at some point.. Would potentially be nice to have a pick-one-of-3 or a shop or smth else that lets you have a bit more input to give the game a bit more strategy!

Otherwise nicely done on this, the art and music fit the vibe quite well!!

Developer

Well done! 20 mins is really good.
I was planning to offer multiple upgrades to select from, the current way of dealing them is very basic but it was the simplest to implement in a short time. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!

Really unique idea and very satisfying gameplay.

I’d like more positional cards, for example, the “is even” card was one of the most fun since the whole game I had to keep moving it. Most of the cards were however “if something happens anywhere on the board” making the positioning almost useless.

Also how does “high roller” work? It says if every digit is 7 or higher but how can that ever happen?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the awesome feedback!
That one is really useless, it's a result of me adding a dozen of modifiers in the last minutes before submission to speed up the late game, and I didn't test them at all. The modifiers in what I spent the least time on, I would have added more interesting ones if I had started the jam earlier.

One of the most clever take on the jam theme so far! This is really smart and enjoyable, the art is simple but very clean. That's a nice one.

I diiid it. Very cool concept and game, very fun when things sync perfectly. The audio especially was incredibly tactile and satisfying!!

Developer

Well done! I wasted a good opportunity to show the real time it took to beat the game in there :(

This was very fun!!

Very salty that I got a "leftmost zero" in the early game, and it never spawned again when I needed it!!

Developer (1 edit)

You were really unlucky to not have that in the late game :) the game needs to have a smart logic for dealing cards.
Thanks for your time, I appreciate the feedback!

Really good take on the theme, very fun. I think maybe 24 hours is a bit much tho??
That didn't really matter much tho I loved it!

Developer

Might be... but it sounds nicer, right? haha
But I think it's just to give players enough room to experiment with different combos.

Submitted

It does sound nicer :D
Mabye my combo's just sucked so I wasn't able to finish it, it does look very menacing

Great take on the modifier game style! I liked the tactile feel of it all. It was satisfying to make a good combo, but I wasn't able to beat it.

Developer (1 edit)

It surely needs a bunch of new modifiers and mechanics to keep the players more engaged.

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed that :) I don't know if I could get down to 00:00:00 though lol. Maybe I needed to think harder about how I was setting my cards up? Either way, you got a good'n here!

Developer

Thank you! yes it takes a bit of time, the more you play the better cards you will get, and luck is also a huge factor right now.

Submitted(+1)

Fantastic game feel, would love something to pressure me to play better and the speed cards were only rarely applicable. Good work, especially for only 24 hours!

Submitted(+1)

Simple but great game!! I was sure the clock would start again when I reach zero, because there were cards that said +200 speed when 6+digits are 0 :D :D

Developer

Right... that one is useless haha, I should have removed it honestly.
I was planning to add a cool card that dies in 3 seconds but ends the game instantly. Unfortunately I was running against the deadline.
Thanks for the feedback!

I was wondering about that, I thought I had broke something lol
