How does your game fit the theme?
Every countdown starts with anticipation. Inspired by "He loves me, he loves me not," I turned plucking flower petals into a physical countdown that ends with a decision. The next time you and a friend/partner can't decide between burgers or pizza, let the flower choose, and if it picks the wrong one, well... you can blame the flower instead of each other. (Bonus: no hurt feelings, just hurt petals.) Check out "Petal History" after every round to see behind the petals to check for fairness and how the round went.

When its a small game like this, the audio and the sound really matters. Luckily, both were done very well. Nice!
Well, counting petals is my hobby now
thanks man! I'm glad I can help with that.
whats going on x-x , helps me choose a option for me without having to destroy a actual flower was nice i guess? maybe like a niche app to deicde something yea or kill time but the audio was nice
The x-x is the petal counter. There are 12 petals. If there are two decisions, you can see the petal counter showing a 6-6 split. Each petal has a predetermined choice, and when you reach the last petal, the decision is made based on that petal's preset choice.
Thank you for the feedback!
This was great :D Maybe not really a game, but I really liked the interpretation nonetheless. It was a very smooth and polished experience. Very fun take on the theme as well. ^_^
That's fair; I can see why it comes across that way. I intentionally removed things like scores, failure states and mastery because they got in the way of the experience I wanted to create.
Rather than helping you make the "best" decision like an app/tool would, the goal was to turn an ordinary choice into a playful ritual: picking your options, quietly rooting for one, building suspense with every petal, and seeing where the flower lands. It's less about solving a problem and more about creating a moment.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Interesting take on the theme. I'll try and bring this out next time deciding what to eat. I still don't really get how the scores are calculated though.
Thank you so much!

Petal History takes you through an action replay that shows the selection order and the predetermined choice, so you can see what it chose for each round.
what a fresh take on an overdone theme! SO GLAD to see something new rather than just any game with a timer forced on it! love it
Very calming, simple but beautiful art. Nothing to add. Thank you for making it!
Thank you so much for such a kind comment!
PLEASE TURN THIS INTO AN APP!!
Per previous comments, I wouldn't necessarily call this one a 'game', but what you have presented is executed very well. I was quite shocked to find the petal replay at the end there! Genuinely though, I imagine a lot of people would enjoy an app like this - decision paralysis is real!
My only feedback if you did would perhaps be a little more style in the UI? The colours & the art assets are gorgeous and I'd love to see you incorporate that into the text boxes etc.
Replay Button -
Petal History Button -
The UI icons are in the game, but there's a bug that makes them too small to see.
I am definitely turning this into a mobile version and releasing it soon! Please follow my itch to be updated when that happens if you'd like to download it later when it comes out.
Less of a game and more of a tool but a very polished and fun take on the theme, might use this in the future
thank you so much! I'll be adding a lot more gameplay elements yet retain the core of the idea.
Really cool game ! Its rare to see games that actually adresses real problems so I love how it does that. Definitely going to use this next time I need to make an important decision
thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that you'd love to use it later as well.
It's more of a tool than a game. But I love the aesthetic and the peaceful vibes. Usually picking between 2 things is stressful, but this takes the stress away.
thank you so much! I'll be adding a lot more gameplay elements yet retain the core of the idea.
The art work is amzing. I would of never thought of turning something like this into a game.
Such a simple be amazing idea>

I like games that address real-life problems, haha. Such a cute idea! The art is beautiful, and picking those petals feels very satisfying. I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops.
Thank you so much! I wonder how you found this game, since you didn't submit a game to the jam. But again, thank you for the support, and yes, I shall update my studio page with a release post when I do release a mobile version soon!
It feels like a kind of game poetry. Quite beautiful. Nice work!
As a former poet, this is hands down my favourite comment, thank you for that!
For how simple it is it feels very polished (I see that this is not the final version, I imagine that is even better). I really like the artstyle, it fits with the cozy feel of the game My only suggestion would be to make the text a bit bigger (I saw only after a few rounds that the choices' number increased randomly every time I took a petal).
I was also impressed by the replay mode, it adds a sense of polish and completeness to the experience. Good luck :)
If I could pin this comment, I would. Thank you so much for the feedback, and you're probably the first person to even mention the choices number - petal counter and petal history replay man, I was so proud of it.
