How does your game fit the theme?
You have a power meter that counts down over the course of a level. And since your power is measured in Down feathers, it counts Down while it counts down.

Really cool concept some levels were quite hard and lots of fun and cool mechanics

Lovely duck! Level 4 and 5 took me sometime to figure out, but very fun to play!

ADORABLE! What a lovely take on countdown. The feathers mechanic creates some really fun puzzles.

Incredible work, 5's across the board. I really like how you represented the amount of flaps you have in real time with the feathers on the side, very smart. The duckling chirps were cute.

Fun concept and honestly an really good level design, made me feel smart in some levels once you get it. Also the movement is tweaked nicely, which is a problem often encountered in jam platformers, good job on that !

The ambiance is pretty relaxing and sweet, love the little speech bubbles you added for the duck :) Only feedback I have is that the sfx are a bit too loud compared to the music imo but it's a nitpick.
Seems like it only needs time for some polish, but it's normal in a game jam and the art direction you went for is a good idea, you made good choices ! Game has it's charm already

Good job :)

they are so cute, well done

really cute little puzzle platformer, love that the down feather mechanic doubles as your jump counter, made me actually think about the order i grabbed the ducklings instead of just rushing in. the gliding feels great too, nice and satisfying to control. took me a few tries on some of the later levels but that's exactly what made it fun. solid work, love a good duck pun

Well, you already know that I love duck based puzzle platformers :)

Even with such similar core ideas, the little choices really seem make a difference. I love how you tied the amount of down to the number of ducklings collected. This makes it harder to fly as the level progresses and really makes you think about the order of your actions. Great job!

Wow ! Really good idea !  Even if we just want to fly around (maybe a special mode to implement ? :D ), the constraint of the feather gives deeper reflexion ! Nice concept !

I like the idea of losing double-jumps over time! I didn’t expect this platformer to also be a puzzle game in that you need to figure out in what order and how you need to get the chicklings, which made the game much more enjoyable for me. The sound effects are also very responsive and the gliding sound effect is really satisfying.

I really like the atmospheric music, and the mechanic is nice too. It's very relaxing. Thanks for making it!

We would also love to hear your feedback on our game! :)

I was pleasantly surprised once I got to the second level, at first I thought it was just a little satisfying platformer with an amazing end jingle, then I learnt about the down mechanic and it making sure you can reach the right heights and it really took it up another level

Neat puzzle!

I loved the sound when you finish the stage, but the wing flapping felt a bit too repeated and dull. The music was too low for me.

Visually, I enjoyed it, it's clear to see and thanks for adding the zone out button because it would be pretty frustrating without it.

For the game itself, I took longer than I'd like to admit to finish stage 4, 5 was easy after that. But at a point, when I finally managed to pass level 4, I pressed E and R at the last duckling, maybe there could be something else to restart a level, like another button a prompt to avoid such situations.

All in all, it was fun and challenging at the right level.

Glad to hear at least one person finished all 5!

Clear puzzle design and a cute concept with the gliding-- I can see potential to elaborate on this idea in different environments or with different actions-- like on the pond! Nice work!

Really cool puzzles all around, I've seen a few games about duck down and feathers being the core multi-jump mechanic, but this game's gliding mechanic made it stand out a lot. Nice work :)

This is legitimately really cool. I don't know if the gliding mechanic was inspired by something, but it's satisfying as heck. Having the down affect your movement was a great addition as well. Some of these game jam games you can tell are one-offs but I really hope you keep working with this one after it's over. Keep it up.

pretty relaxing one in the sea of stressful games I like your interpretation

I've seen lots of Count Dracula puns, but this is the first feather pun! Wonderful puzzler that got surprisingly tricky. Great work!

I loved that if you go Down (heh) and don't have enough feathers, it tells you to restart the game. It's those little touches.

I love the game ! The mechanic is a mix-up between a flappy bird and a puzzle game, the controls are awesome, which is very rare in game jams. I love the artwork, sobriety has always been very charming for me.

Overall, excellent game. I'd gladly play it again !
