How does your game fit the theme?
You have to finish a level in a certain amount of time, but there are obstacles that take away time and clocks that add up to it

Loved the game the controls were good just there are sometimes where my character gets stuck to platform when I am jumping towards its and game suddenly brokes after that any i have to restart the level that was a bit annoying but rather than that I loved it.

Developer

Thanks for playing, i'm glad you enjoyed it! I know about that collision bug and i was hoping to fix it and a few more things and then release a more polished version :]

This game is a vibe. The jump felt a little weird, like there was a little impulse part-way through, and I ran into a couple of collision bugs, but besides that, it's a simple platformer that does what it sets out to do very well!

The little megalovania hit before the music loops also got a good chuckle out of me!

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! I'm glad you liked my little game

It was a fun experience :) I had some bugs with the movement but still enjoyable. Great job!

Developer

thank you :]

Simple one, but nice style of platformer. I did feel like I didn’t need clocks too much for the first levels, but it was still fun trying to get them, and I liked how the last level sort of proved that.

Thank you for playing, i'm glad that you liked it! :)

This was super fun and well polished, the music really motivated me to be fearless and get those levels done! Great simple fun. Good job, keep games!

cool game!
would appreciate a lil bit of cayote time
(I think there is a bug that sometimes the player don't move with the moving platform)

I love the concept of needing to earn the time to spend it but also taking too long makes you lose that money... and health?? All tied together nicely, you have a good little jam submission!! Well done! :D

Cute lil platformer! I don’t think I’d ever refuse the double jump upgrade lol. Two gripes I had with this were both about the moving platforms : sometimes it’s hard to tell where you’re supposed to go when they move off-screen + sometimes they don’t carry you so you just slip off :(

also, cool pineapple image.png

I'm glad you enjoyed my little platformer and thank you for your feedback! The platform collisions were a pain to program and in the end i had no time to fix that weird bug.

Yoooooo, its so brilliant!!! I loved all - art is amazing, also character is so cute and nicely animated. I really like combination of music and gameplay - it fits 10/10. This game really reminded me "Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster’s Hidden Treasure" on Sega Mega Drive from my childhood, its really cool like this game.

Also i found some bugs. First one - if u try to jump under platform (like on screen) u will stack and game, as i think, will crash after all. Restarts with shift didnt happen and also page with game was lagged.

The second one - if u try to use "shift" to restart game when u didnt die it will restart level, but not the player - so u can use it like exploit to get extra time (like on gif below)

All bugs didn't interfere me to play and enjoy the game, so dont worry <3

You did really good job, this game so nostalgic for me and at the same time so fresh, that i would like to play it on polished version. Good luck with this project!

Thank you so much for your feedback and for sharing the specific bugs you found, i was aware of the platform stuck thing but i had no idea about the shift restart exploit! I was planning to fix and polish the project after the jam. I'm glad you enjoyed my little game :]

Most creative implementation ive seen of the "platformer with a countdown timer" bit, had a lot of fun but the game froze a few levels in and i didnt want to have to go back through to regain all my progress.

Developer

Hi i'm glad to hear that you enjoyed my idea! What happened before the game froze, i'd like to know where to look so i could maybe fix it later .

Nothing notable? It just sort of froze when i hit the bottom left hand corner of a platform. Then firefox warned me the tab was using resources. I didnt count the levels but i think i had bought the double jump like 2 levels before maybe?

Developer

oh, it's a collision problem. I was warned about it by a playtester close to the end of submission time and i had no time to do anything about it. Luckily it happens rare enough, but i will definetly look into my collision code later to see where the problem is. Thanks for noting me about it

I think the sense of speed and level design are both great. It would be even better if you could add a few more sound and visual effects!
