Loved the music, loved the game, loved the vibes. Even though the simplicity of the game, i enjoyed so much hahaha

Made me giggle.

Absolutely no kink shaming but turning around the first time and being jumpscared by a t-posing puppy was absolutely terrifying to me. Got to the ending and the cute drawing of the two of us cuddling soothed me down thankfully.

Glad you enjoyed the ending! (And sorry I accidentally spooked you!)

Wow, that room got big quickly! It definitely got harder as the room became more full but I think I did pretty well. Overall a cool game, well done!

I enjoyed the frantic absurdity of this one! The red/blue color aesthetic was fun, as was the room becoming larger and more cluttered.

Thanks! Im very happy with how the look of the game turned out. There were some bits of furniture I wanted to add that I couldnt because the asset didnt look great as a single color without shading or outlines. However, most of the assets had sub meshes with extra materials so I could have multiple shades on objects to keep them recognizable.

Great choice of music, really added to the franticness. Found myself quite enjoying the game despite it's simpleness.

I like how simple the gameplay loop for this game is, and the music choice really matches the franticness of trying to find the dog man.

Fun! Definitely out of the box.

Thanks! I thought of the aesthetic pretty quickly after I can up with the mechanic I wanted. I wanted to draw from my experience hanging around the gay community I’m in. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

Would have liked to get a little setup/settings screen right before the game starts, or at least an option to lower the volume a tiiiiny bit, as much as i love Hall of the Mountain King my ears don't seem to like how loud it ended up being with my pc's audio settings x)

The room's size ramping up and up each time you catch the friend was really cool ! With the music ramping up in intensity as everything becomes gigantic it really sells the chaotic nature of chasing through the room while trying to find the friend x)

The Tposing models look kinda silly (except if that's the objective?) but overall the style of the game is pretty unique i'd say !

It eventually starts to looks like some sort weird bedroom-themed liminal space once the room gets big enough !👀

I liked the vibes ^v^ Good work !✨

Thanks for the feedback! I made the mistake of taking a humanoid model with no rig early on so I couldn’t add any poses without redoing a bunch of work. should have picked a placeholder with a rig so I could add any add some poses at least. A setting screen would have helped both with volume and with mouse sensitivity so I will start investing in these things earlier next time.

I’m glad you enjoyed the escalation with the room! I think it succeeds in having a magical realist / surreal vibe. I’m very happy with how that part turned out.

( fun fact: I originally was using the Benny hill/ yaxty sax but realized that was copyrighted so I couldn’t use it)

I really didn’t expect to come across a game like this in the jam haha. The controls felt quite sensitive and the solid colors made visibility tricky, but I guess that was part of the artistic direction. Congrats on the submission, I ended up sleeping with the dog watching TV!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The web build feels a bit more sensitive than the download version for whatever reason. In the future, I should plan and test around the web build earlier to iron out things like this.

Simple but effective concept ! The dog does feel a little bit floaty to play though

Well done :)

Improving the character controller would be an interesting extension should I try to improve it further. I use this character controller when doing first person games so I will make a note of it when using it in the future. Thanks for feedback!
