Very interesting take. Creative. I like it.
The style and setting are quite immaculate! Definitely felt like a jester trying to read what all the cards do while time was running out, but the idea is quite good. Had to really think of all the combos to get the needed score. Nice!
I found out that you learn after you lose a few times. Thank you for playing!
An incredibly easy add to my favourites Jam list.
The premise, style, mechanics, and especially the humour is absolutely on-point; something about nearing the end of a routine with almost no points and having "Beg" left in the hand absolutely killed me; has very " Death of the Reprobate" vibes which is amongst my all time favourites: just so really really well put together. All married up to some of the best art-styling of the Jam imo. And I haven't even gotten onto how satisfying the synergistic card mechanics are! Feels like each set is a puzzle to optimise out of, super addicting.
Incredible entry.
Oh, thank you for that extended feedback!
Thank you for the game recommendation. I haven't heard of it but it looks just like something I would enjoy, so now I have to check it out and play it 😆
I was inspired by the game Pentiment, it has a great story, witty and fun dialogues and mystery to solve, and feels like oldschool point & click games.
The main Jester character's outfit was inspired by a real person that existed in medieval times in the country where I'm from, he was called Stańczyk. However the story in our game is completely made up, not based on real facts or people.
I'm very happy that you enjoyed our game!
Yes! I've not played Pentiment yet but have seen it, this might be the kick I need to try it! The other has similarities but a little more... offbeat, it's definitely fun though.
Oh of course! I never knew the name but recognise the Matejko painting. That's such a lovely detail!
WAHOO!!! an absolute delight to play :)
Excellent art and mechanic design! Appreciate the effort for building up a fun card playing system in 96 hours. Great job :)
I'm glad you liked it!
What a neat card game!
Your art was also amazing! The font was a bit hard to read at times but it fit the art style nicely.
That's true choosing the right font was difficult, I might want to revisit that area later. Thank you for playing!
This game requires some good thinking about strategy and when to use cards. I think the gameplay works well and the art is very nicely done! Great job!
A very interesting setup for a card/deckbuilder game. I loved the card names and how they combined narratively. The art and music was also great. I would play this if this was a full release on steam. Really well done!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, cheers!
really REALLY cool, i love the idea and the execution. well done!!
I like this idea a lot! Excellent art direction!
Loved that the count down was a candle instead of just a countdown timer! A few times I tried to play a card and it didn't want to go, but maybe I just wasn't dragging it to just the right spot
Thank you for playing!
If you're out of time, the candle will not burn anymore. That means you can only play cards that cost 0 time or End Routine. Maybe you were trying to play a card that cost time?
That would make a lot of sense. For some reason I thought it would automatically end the routine if I was out of time.
That's something we could've explained better. Thank you for the feedback!
I really enjoyed this! So many cards for how little time there was to make the game. Well done!
very well done, lots of potential! Love the art! Did you make the Soundtrack yourself?
Yeah! I did the soundtrack! I'm glad you like it!
Dude the soundtrack is amazing!!! Can we connect on Discord?
Of course!

What a charming game! I appreciate the coherent experience from visuals, mechanics and theme. Well done!
Obviously the art style here is amazing in everyway possible but I'm incredibly impressed by the fact that yall got a proper working and fun card game done withinthe time constraint. Its unreal how polished and fun this ended up being and I think it all is elevated by the gorgeous art. Amazing effort!
Incredibly fun and satisfying experience!
Haha, That was really fun! Great visuals, music and engaging gameplay)
Though it's bugged for me on 4th or 5th routine, card played but stuck "mid air" with no glory gain, 2 times, so I didn't get to some real high scores( However it's a softlock and seems random, so no big deal) Great game!
I tested the game and got the same bug when I played Tune (looks like its the cause). Thanks for the heads up, I'll fix that once the jam is over
Oh, Tune... I believe it worked at least once, but now I'm not sure. Anyways, Great job! Just kinda find myself an excuse I couldn't beat some highscores, haha (I got 22)
Great aesthetics and gameplay. If you told me you had worked on this for a month I would believe you. Everything from the game to even the page itself just puts a smile to my face.
Extremely charming artstyle, I loved it so much. Definitely a fun take on the theme along with an excellent sense of polish and simple gameplay. Along with a few other people, my only gripe is just the rng was a little unbalanced - for a game jam especially if you don't have time to do things like control cards you can be sneaky and rig the rng to be more in the player's favour.
Great unique entry!! Your game page was also very well put together :)
thank you for the compliments, and for the feedback! We really appreciate it 🙏 💖💖 And I'm glad you enjoyed our game!
Great aesthetic and music, it really conveyed the desperation of trying to entertain a medieval court.
Thank you! That's what we were going for so it's very nice to hear that people got that impression 💖
