Nice game, though the movement was a little too slippy slidey. Kept sliding off the edge of things lol ^^;
Very satisfying movement, sometimes it can be a bit hard to gauge where it is you're going to land and the levels could do with some more variety in design and mechanics, but building up combos is very fun once you get a hang of it. I really like how the audio sting increases in pitch the higher your combo is.
Super addicting, I love the juicy audio on combos! Awesome work!
I love this! The cute character design, the fast-paced yet methodical gameplay, the catchy music, and especially the little bit of squash and stretch on the player character. My only minor nitpicks are that both camera angles can be a little obscure and the somewhat slippery movement can lead many missed jumps and deaths from slipping off ledges. But all around, this was a fun and engaging platformer with lovely aesthetics, and it becomes something of a puzzle game if you try to chase a perfect score. Fantastic work!
Great use of the theme! Definitely a concept that could be taken further with more time, but very enjoyable in it's current state too. Reminds me of a 3D Mario bonus level. Well done!
Fun small game. I found the movement quite hard, so I am very thankful that you didn't include a health bar, and that the progress doesn't reset after dying. ^^"
I always appreciate 3D games on jams, not a lot of people go for them. I've struggled a bit with the diagonal movement, there isn't a lot of space to navigate on a block, but it could be a skill issue :D
i love the game concept but i will not lie is little bit hard like for movement i love the game make me remember one of games in mario mini games in nintendoDS
Pretty well excecuted, good job!
cool game, not sure if it really benefited from being a 3d platformer though
(may just be me, I am not nearly as good with arrow keys compared to wasd)
I really enjoyed the game! I love its art style, animations, and gameplay.
(Edited: Sorry about my last comment, I was a bit drunk, lol.)
what?? (nvm edit)
Interesting game. Took a bit to understand what the combos were, but otherwise great. Though I kept falling of the edges of tiles. Odd however is that it seems there's no penalty for that.
That's a lovely platformer puzzle with a satisfying gameplay, liked the combo mechanic and the sound design, too
I loved platformers and this is a nice 3D puzzle platformer! Thank you so much for making this short and enjoyable experience. I felt really good when I was able to clear high levels with a perfect combo! Keep it up!
I also invite you to play mine :)
The movement was fast a matched the music. But it was also very floaty, leading me to run off the edge a lot unexpectedly. But I think the concept was nice and aside from that well executed. The only other thing I got confused initially by was the combos, Took me a minute to figure that out. Also lead me to finding the maximum pitch sound for combo multiplier on one level which was amusing.
Cool game, very fun!!
Really fun concept! I did find the camera a bit frustrating in that it seemed to not really properly illustrate the depth/perspective of things, but being able to press X to get an overhead view was very helpful. I also appreciated the leniency of deaths -- having no score penalty besides the opportunity cost of combos made it feel a lot lower stakes, which was a good fit for this kind of gameplay. Well done!
A lot of fun, but it's waaay more slippery than I would have expected. You can tap a direction and watch the little guy walk off the ledge. I like the fast movement though, it makes it a lot more fun. Going for combos is satisfying. Good stuff overall!
I like the audio! would have liked more standardized controls, but i think the core mechanic is a really clever idea. Good work!
Engaging.
Easy to understand, clever concept.
The character controls are a bit awkward for me.
But overall, it's very good.
