Love this one, super fun and really liked the art style in this one
really cool idea. reminds me of the good old bridge builder times^^
Cool idea and very polished artwork! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D
This was so much fun! I think this is my favorite game of the jam! Honestly my only critique is that the flag sometimes turns red even when the building is still standing (particularly on level 4, was able to pass it without time limit by spamming rods everywhere)
Really nice ! I had a lot of fun testing trying this one. My main feedback would be tuning the difficulty on the second level or maybe adding sound effects when taking damage to give the actions more feedback. Good stuff.
The key is to throw as much trash as possible in the way of a disaster!
Genuinely awesome game, not only in the sound and art feeling super unique but also being really really fun to play. I found myself often replaying levels and really thinking hard about the solution - and they always felt satisfying when I solved them. The variety of levels and tasks was also really good - some of the ideas especially with the last level were great.
If you were to improve upon this, the sinkhole level consistently gave me the win even though all the houses fell offscreen (although i have no idea how I'd solve that one legit)
My main issue is that half the levels were not very clear on what the danger was from the level name alone. Having more indication of what the threat is beforehand would be nice.
Lastly, it'd be nice to get more use out of the digging mechanic and maybe even mix it with the building mechanics.
Otherwise, you did flawlessly and I'm happy for you about how popular this game got!
Thank you for the detailed feedback!
Interesting interpretation of the theme.
Love the CGA esc graphics and overall design! Took me a bit to figure out how to build objects but once I got it it was smooth sailing. Great idea!!
Very fun! I like how frantic the timer makes the game feel. It's not like polybridge where you can calculate and consider, you just need to spam materials, build the most ridiculous looking but intuitively solid structure you can think of. My shit starting looking like the Landscape of Thorns. Great entry :)
really clever! probably my favorite i've played so far, love that you took a genre that really never has any kind of time limit, it gives this game a really unique vibe. music really matched the kind of unsettling tone. super nice job!
Real Creative. Damn Good. Nuff Said.
Just in awe. Jam winner for sure
nice game !!
I only stopped because I want to try other games, added to collection for later. Love the engineering challenges!
How clever are your game designers. I’m not sure if this is okay, but when I played, I turned off the time limit and enjoyed it
The song is beautifull but the game is very hard to learn (I tried it with tutorial)
Very very fun game with a cool design idea! I like that you added an unlimited time option since that seems to be where most of the difficulty lied for me.
Super Fun Game Fits the theme Super Well Amazing Fun game 10/10!
Very cool puzzle game. The physics is reasonably effective, and the EGA graphics are delightful.
I only got to Level 6. Note that in some cases, I would "fail" (the flag would turn red, and I couldn't progress) even though I couldn't actually see the structural damage visually.
Thanks for playing our game!
Level 6 is a bit tricky and for sure requires a bit more visual feedback!
You can progress further using something like on the screenshot. You need to protect the flag from flying sticks/debris, but right now they're barely visible. We'll fix that after the jam ends!
