This is a very well designed and polished game. The idea is also very creative. The animation and particle effects made the game super juicy.
One detail I really admire is that each card is unique hand drawn, even the same +3 cards have different drawings.
It shows how much heart the dev has put into this game. Great Job!

Holly! That is the highest score so far! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and yes Love2D was great to work with! For a UI heavy game like this I think I will prefer it over more traditional engines any day.

Super creative! Could use some kind of tutorial, but once I got the main mechanics, I managed to get very far (Round 30+). Though I still don't completely understand what the bosses do.

The bossfights are CHILLS! Get over your fear of maths and play this! I just press random cards and it works out anyway!

This game is great. Super satisfying hitting a massive divide to go from a high number to almost 0. Also the music is such a banger. I was vibing the entire game. I think the normal song kind of shares a leitmotif with the boss music? Actually fire. We need a soundtrack upload.

Thank you!! Great catch on the music, the normal and boss music do share the same motifs! We started with a big song concept around the idea of countdown then developed multiple genres for it.
We are unsure of any soundtrack upload as we dont really know how to approach it at the moment. But we will definitely consider it while working on the full release version of this game! Thank you for the kind words!
THIS is absolutely incredible. I loved playing it so much, that now I am addicted. Who knew maths could be so fun? So polished, music fits to the gameplay perfectly, everything balanced, how did you do this in such a short time??? Anyways, I got to 135889. Is that good? :)![]()
