The game is very original; I really like the gameplay! I find it super fun to play—it makes me want to play again! And I really like the ambient music.

Really nice artwork!

The artstyle is very cute. Pretty fun game to play. I lasted 158 seconds

I really like it!

It's simple enough to a point were it doesn't need any tutorial (the little icons in the corners are literally enough). The balancing is pretty good, you manage to survive for quite a while, but not long enough for it to become boring. The art and music are awesome. Also, in some way the game is kinda the reverse of my game lol. :D

Good job!

Awesome game, the music is perfect, the art is cool too, short but very interesting and at the beginning I thought I could easily get through it, but then such a crowd ran out on me that I don't even know how to fight it.

A really staightforward game, and a simplicity that just simply works really well, In fact i was chilling n vibing playing with one hand, (and  gosh, i love that auto attack gameplay decision, thank you)  until all of the sudden 6 opps jumped on me and  my campfire countdown went from 60 seconds to almost 10.  The only thing i could say, more like a possible suggestion, it's that "what if you could pile several woods  at the same time, but the more you pick, the slower you move". I mean, it actually works really well with the actual decision, but may be this possible change gives the players more choices of strategy, well  just leave that in the air, it's your game after all. Good work guys!!

Heyyy great idea actually! we didnt even think of that but that would have indeed been a great addition for the game
Thank you for playing and for your review!!

I like how minimalist yet fun the gameplay feels, art and sound are great! It would be nice to have some pause option and volume controls, also - the fire logs spawn feels a bit to random, i once had, like 9 in a row at the begining. Good work!

I like the little game!

Someone before mentioned Don't Starve vibes, and I totally agree. Simple but challenging gameplay, I had a lot of fun. I have a thing for colors and sounds, and I enjoyed the use of both here!

The water ghosts are very cute. Do I succeed if I reach a certain amount of time with the fire lit or does it go on forever? I liked the progression from relaxing firekeeping to frantically running around and bumping into trees.

Thanks for your review!!
Yes the game goes on forever, the goal is to reach the highest score possible :)

Interesting idea.

I also got a Don't Starve vibe.

It would be awesome if there was some kind of difficulty curve and more variety. Also a volume slider.

Overall, good work!

I think that was the better executions of simple and fun gameplay on the jam! The core mechanic was simple, but the overall atmosphere and thematic of it all made it superb. I also think that the balance was just about right. I tried to cheese it at some point and collect only the firewoods but it didn't work D: Good job!

This was a relaxing game at first, but it gradually turns into a tense survival challenge. I really liked the visual style, it has a lot of personality and makes the whole experience feel cozy. Once things start getting hectic, though, it can be tough to recover, so having a rare emergency ability or temporary boost could make those intense moments feel a bit more manageable. Overall, it's a fun and memorable game with a great atmosphere.

Good idea, thanks for playing our game and giving feedback :)

 Hello from Discord!

your game turned out to be very addictive, I chopped 50 examples before I missed the moment that I had 5 seconds left on the fire lol

I liked the style of the game, it reminded me of the game Dont Strave Together and its mechanic with the fire, when a shadow hand reaches out to put out your fire

I would like to see your review of my game if you are interested in playing it

Nice little game. The gameplay loop was solid, but I feel like it lacked a bit of variety. You did get the difficulty curve perfectly tho, wich is something many game jammers struggle with. Good job!

Solid loop, but it did lack variety outside of a bunch more ghosts spawning. Movement felt great until I got stuck on unclear boundries for the trees. The automatic actions were nice and generous, so a fun time.
