Good dungeon exploration + slow burn idea.

Going back to put the wax on the big candle can be painful but rewarding at the same time.

I forgot to escape a lot hahaha.

In fact, I really liked the game. Pros:

- Level design is very cool, a large location with puzzles

- I was impressed by this jump, it looks cool in a 2d game

- Minimalistic art, fits very well, everything is cool. Only draw the player and enemies at least a little and it will be 5 out of 5.

Cons - none.

I was really impressed by the game, I played 20 games on jam, I think this is in the top 5. Well done!

I would like to ask you to rate my game as well, as it is also interesting in my opinion and the opinion of the commentator. Thanks)

Such a sick game!! I love dungeon crawlers, and even the simple graphics work so well for this game. It feels complete and polished, and while skill is definitely necessary to succeed it’s not unnecessarily hard. Very well done!

I think some more sound would add to the atmosphere.  I kept losing because my candle burned out.  At first I thought the yellow stuff was wax which would help me survive longer but it was not.  I thought the tutorial was helpful.

The yellow-green stuff is wax, you have to deposit them by going near the central candle to increase the timer, maybe i couldve made this more clear.

Really cool game, the audio is a bit lacking, but overall it's a cool game!

A really good time, loved the look of the game, loved the gameplay, i really just wish you were able to add some more sounds and maybe music. All in all, amazing job!

Pretty cool game, love topdown adventure games. The controls does feel responsive (attack could probably be made even more responsive though) and the way the map works with the lighting is pretty nice too.

...Though it could use some music

Nice concept!!! Also nice game mechanic of attack mid air for longer jump. Also the movements were smooth.

love the candle mechanic and the shadow visual around the player along with the visuals in general really nice

Cool and fun game! Not a lot of sounds though which is a little jarring.

The long jump is cool, the map is nice, I really like the center area with the candle. the tutorial works well. I think more enemies would have been a bit better, and some of the jumps are hard (or maybe I'm just bad). This is good and could be a bigger game too, keep it up!

I like the player movement in this one a lot! The only thing I would do is give some sort of run functions but other then that it was great!

I definitely would give this one a try. The gameplay loop was very addicting with it encouraging the player to take risks and keep exploring a bit longer before heading back to the candle. Kind of a similar vibe to dome keeper in that regard- which is definetly a good thing. Tons of fun. Lowkey might play this some more later.
