How does your game fit the theme?
You need to count your bullets to hit the right coins. There is also an overall theme of counting coins.

$3.20! To be honest I just spammed space and R because there's no cooldown, and hopped the bullets had the right color :p It wasn't my first strategy, but it was the one where I had the best result. It was fun, good job!
V1 would be so damn proud of this game! I really like the gameplay, having to manage your bullets and aim for the correct coins create a good challenge and the skill ceiling that comes with it feels nice. Congratz!
Very creative idea! Spamming the gun feels really fun! I would just count the coins I hit to the score, the misses make you feel bad for always getting negative ;)
Such a simple idea but so addictive! Great implementation, it's the kind of game where you lose track of time playing. Congrats on a great entry!
Thanks! Sorry for the time lost with addiction D:
A lot of fun, love precision games like this! Satisfying to learn and improve at
Thanks for playing!
It was so fun just trying to hit the coins in mid-air! I think mouse controls would work so well for this. Paying attention to your current bullet type was really hard though, so I just focused on hitting the coins despite what bullet I had. Awesome game!
That's a totally viable strategy! Thanks for playing
A very funny arkanoid.
Some VFX and some cool effects would be great.
I guess you could turn it into a roguelike, with abilities and an incremental system.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably tinker with some more particles and things like screen shake.
I also though about expanding it, but I don't know if it would ever be a rogue like? Since I don't want many different levels and all that. IMO, not everything needs to be like rogue!
Simple but fun! I tried several rounds to get a score more than 0 lol
Sometimes the coins and bullets just don't match and as a player I really hope there could be a way to change or decide the color of the coins. It's fun enough to play tho :-D Good job!
Thanks for playing! Keeping track of the coins and counting the bullets was part of the design, but I'll tinker with the coin distribution for sure.
Hello! This is a pretty short but far from simole game. There's a lot of things you need to keep track (not in a overwhelming way) , even if you can just focus on your ammos and the coins on the screen. I would add a equalization for the randomness so the same amount of coins appear every time.
Congrats on making the game!
Here's the vod (game is at 1:11:00)
Thank you for trying it out! Was great to see someone else play it live.
I'll maybe equalize the bullet randomness but not the coins! In my view having it random allows for extra lucky runs and that high-score chasing feeling.
Oh this was snappy! Every animation and effect is just bubbling, and making a revolver wheel have so much personality is very impressive! This really does feel like a game that could be a minigame in a large western game!
If theres one thing I would like, as someone with pretty poor perception skills, it would be to maybe increase the size of the revolver wheel to make it easier to see. And talking about scale, maybe having the coins be even bigger as well, or maybe making the lesser worth coins bigger and keeping the gold ones smaller?
Either way, this really felt great to play, and one of the most unique games I've seen in the jam as well! Great job! :D
I'm glad the animations had a positive impact, that's the power of variable interpolation! I'll play around with the size of things later and see how it looks.
Thanks for the feedback!
Really inventive and concise game loop, felt really satisfying when nailing a bunch of shots in a row or juggling a coin with the wrong bullet until you get the right one in the chamber, great job!
Aaah I really hoped someone would get that too! Coin juggling is the best. Originally shooting the wrong coin destroyed it but the bounce turned out way better.
Honestly, this felt very satisfying to play. I felt like Arthur from RDR2 shooting all the coins :D Just 2 small notes - maybe a bit of a shooting and reloading cooldown, because I just started levering the gun at the coins at one point :D But honestly, this felt like a fun little arcade game I'd play to kill time, very satisfying when you jump around the coins and hit them all with the correct bullet. W game!
Thank you! Nice to have got the feeling right :)
I didn't test for spamming when testing but I think it's still not a super good strategy? Because you need to count the bullet types and hit the right coins. I'll test blocking shooting while the barrel is still rolling...
Indeed, it wasn't the best strategy, but if you are fast enough, you can try shooting all kinds of bullets as nearly 1 shot :D No worries!
I really enjoyed the flourishes in this game. The shot was satisfying to hit and have my coins keep bouncing, the little animation when your coins are tallied. Really nice work!
Thank you! I tried to focus this jam on getting these details right, so that's really good to hear :)
interesting concept but i wold like to have more time for one game. Fun game
Thanks! It was tough to decide when to end, and I ended up goigg for the easy option and doing what fit the UI. That's when you get 20 coins in either stack
As other commenters have mentioned, there is a lot to keep track of and you aren't give much time to do it. That said, the simple act of shooting the coins is very fun, due particularly to the sound effects. Nice entry!
I did spend a bit of time picking the right sounds! It's amazing how many good ones you can get for free nowadays. Thanks for playing :)
I thought I was doing super well until I saw the coins subtract from my score... ended up getting 2.50. Engaging concept!
Hey 2.50 is a good score! Anything positive deserves the applause at end.
Good game, its a little complicated but the idea is fun, I suggest you build upon this more after the jam, it gives kind of a fruit ninja vibe.
Fruit ninja was indeed one of the inspirations! I'll for sure try to flesh it out a bit more after the jam. Thanks for playing
Well executed! I think the aim could be a bit more forgiving, and starting the player off with all 3 coin types and all 3 bullets is a lot to do at once, so maybe a more gradual difficulty curve would be good :)
Good points! I'll definitely implement a rational distribution at the start (and maybe even for reloads) after the jam.
Juicy to play, fast paced, all around a pretty strong game, although there's a lot to keep track of and it's a bit difficult to watch upcoming coins, current bullet, and next bullets while aiming. I wish that there was some better indicator closer to the gun.
Now that you mention juice, I didn't even realize I didn't put in screen shake or hitstop! Probably the game was ok without it.
Your point about the many things to keep track of is something I hadn't thought about... With the theme being about counting though, I did expect some mental stress on keeping count of something. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll tinker with it!
Really good game, pretty good way to use the theme!
Thank you!
