Absolutely love the pointcrawl map! Good visual design, and the weird fantasy vibes are through the roof.
great pitch, great writing, great faction work, great graphic. There is a lot, and the lot is top nitch... yet, i feel overwhelmed, helpless, in front of all of this. But it's me. Clearly. The job is great, nothing to say
I talked a little about this game on Bsky, but I have to drop a comment here as well. I absolutely love this adventure. the writing is great; brilliant usage of art by Hodag. I simply cannot wait to see what other things you have in the pipeline. This adventure sets my brain abuzz!
As soon as I opened the pdf, I was stunned; this looks so goddamn cool!
The layout is great (really love the map especially) , the art is nice, the monsters are quite unique, and i would love to see a more fleshed out version of this detailing the other pillars, factions, and important NPC!
Thank you so much! I have been thinking about a follow-up to this, but I have several other projects in the works first.
I love what you did with this title! Amazing world building. Great locations, factions and monsters. The art and layout supports this module really well.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
If this is only the first pillar, I can’t wait to read all 4 of them! Love the adventure, it’s very weird, the theme, the creatures, and the cheeky nuclear insert. Very fun, and it’s very jam packed. Can’t wait to see more expansion of this! (Or more creations from you)
I do have plans for a follow-up adventure, but am currently working on a couple other projects first. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Great visuals! Yes, the headings below the text may not have been the best choice, but the overall layout is well thought out. I image it is very easy to use at the table.
Thank you! Layout is always something I think about a lot, so I appreciate that.
Did not disappoint at all with the title!! What a great execution here. Really enjoyed the read, the visuals, and color choices!
Thank you very much!
This is huge for a 4-page zine, and packed with things to do! I question some of your layout decisions, but I realize you're cramming things in (like I did, honestly). Having the monster name and art =below= the text in the bestiary took me a minute to figure out, but I managed. Solid art, and you've built a whole world around the secret at the end of the adventure. And that secret opens up a whole new world for the party to explore. I love this!
Thank you! You're right that having the headers below the text was a mistake the way I did it, but I'll be fixing that after the judging period.
Pure awesomeness...Objectively Great, even without my contributions
Thank you very much! It wouldn't have worked as well as it has without your art. I'm excited to continue our collaboration!
An Appendix N oozing module! I want to play just to explore and understand it more. The kind of module i dont want to read in detail before I run so I can explore and improvise based off the uniqueness. Well done!
Thank you! If you do run it, please let me know how it goes and any new feedback you have!
Fantastic! I love the names of things here, and I can tell you have a lot of fun with language. Pishtosh Imp! Daptorkin going Lopar! Great stuff. And the marine life inspirations are fantastic as well. But even moving past the writing, there's a lot of great game-design stuff here: the Engram detector is great, as are the little encounter tables you've done. The Stonemire one in particular is nice design.
My buddy sent me this one over Discord. Said it was right up my alley, and he was totally right. I'd love to run this. Sometimes I read these and think 'I wish this got to unfold into a full adventure'. This doesn't need that. It is a full adventure. What I would wish for is a whole book full of adventures like this, set in this world.
Wow, thank you so much! I am honored that you liked it. I love your work. And, you're the first person to mention the names! I was hoping someone would notice them. :)
Incredible entry. Really a joy to read, fun themes covered in an evocative way. I love the map art and playful layout and design decisions that were made. The Descent Events sounds legitimately terrifying, like being pulled apart in the hands of the matrix kind of stuff. Very messed up, I love it.
Thank you very much for the positive review (and helpful feedback earlier)! High praise coming from a talented creator such as yourself.
This is really cool. I could see me playing this in one of my land of Eem Games.
Thank you! Now that you mention it, Land of Eem would work well for this adventure.
Honestly one of the best Ive seen to this point. I have nothing but love for every piece of this.
I just realized you must be the Shurebis from Bluesky. Thank you again! I appreciate you sharing my adventure.
I really enjoyed the weirdness. The world building and design is great. I feel like this should be expanded with some more info to the GM on how to get started and what the big problems are. Great job!
Yes, my GM guidance is maybe my weakest area. It's something I will work on if I end up expanding it. Thank you!
Such a solid adventure. Very on theme, lots of levers to pull, and a cool interpretation of the title!
The art is really good, and I love the weirdness going on here. The information is well made and it's not getting too cramped that made me want to re-read it again. I like is that is system agnostic even with old school essentials so it can be played in both ways. Great piece!
Thank you so much! I have to thank Haven Milne and Hodag RPG for most of the art.
Really love the weirdness. I think this is my favorite of the 10 or so modules I've read and reviewed so far. The art is phenomenal, great color selection. The Daptorkin are my favorite thing, I think. You pack a ton of information into the pages without them feeling cluttered and you still manage to include awesome images of the creatures and each location on the map. Great use of tables. Just a really cool, unique world to play around in. I'm not sure if you changed much or it's just looking at it a second time after we spoke, but I feel like i have a clear idea on how to run this adventure.
Your feedback definitely helped me focus in on what needed to be tweaked to improve clarity. Thank you for the kind words!
Everything about this makes me happy. The writing, the concept, the art, the layout. All of it hits the spot. You've made a great weird fantasy adventure.
The factions standout to me most. That section alone tells a story that I see as crucial for the adventure.
Also, I'm always happy to see more OSE content being made. Seriously. Good job.
Thank you so much!
