I was impressed with how you did the cutscenes and story. I actually played on an iPad and coincidentally it worked really well! Also the monster design gave me a good laugh.

I find it really impressive that you were able to tell a cohesive narrative story in short game jam! The mood change from relaxed beginning, suspense when the monsters appeared, and a resolution that shows the connection between the story and collecting flower (gameplay). The art and UI work together quite well too. Gameplay wise, I think the sound design really boosted the experience, and I appreciate that you made the flower hitbox larger. Overall, I think it is a very solid entry!
I always try to leave some feedback for improvement, but since it is a narrative focused game, I can't think of any aside from maybe adding more branching paths or different endings!

I really love story-focused video games! The art style was minimalist, but pleasing to the eye. The gameplay mechanics were just right to complement the story without distracting from it. One of my favorites so far. (I’ve already found a lot of good ones.)
(A small practical tip: It’s worth switching the background from gray to black in these cases, because it sometimes showed through. The other thing is that the images don’t cover the full screen at every resolution. In those cases it might be worth centering the image.)
