Some really interesting ideas that could lead to great roleplaying moments! The bog body is such a simple but evocative NPC encounter. I don’t know what strange things would happen if it gets the glasses, though 👀

Thank you for the kind feedback. The bog bodies (sans the potential demon eyes merge) are a real thing here in Denmark. Check out Tollund Man and the Grauballe Mand. Amazing.

They main thing that comes to mind when reading this is: potential. It reads like a strong idea, that needs to be explored further. You clearly put a lot of energy into this cabinet of curiosities -the rooms, the table. It leaks creativity. The story itself, who lost what, what did they *got, what have they lost, what’s going on in town with that ooze, has to be described al lot more.

By now it’s a strange and intriguing location. But it could be much more.

Thank you for the critique! Glad that you can see the potential. I'm definitely considering doing a redux version, without the deadline or the constraints of working from my family summer cabin, while on holiday.

Overall, I love this location. I will likely use this at my table. You've got some great ideas.

You mention arcane residue a lot, but I seem not to be able to find what it does, which is a problem when the painting defends itself by shooting arcane residue and the oozes collapse into it.

As others have mentioned, your layout could use some small adjustments. You have a lot of awkward white space which could have been filled by adjusting the text or adding small pieces of art.

I think your creatures are very evocative, and with your descriptions, I think many GMs could adapt them to a system of their choice.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. Will definitely take it all into consideration. Also wonderful to know, that it might get used at an actual table.

There's room to grow into formatting and layout but it's clear that you've been playing and/or reading the material of this great big hobby of ours. Please keep writing! This is the kind of completeness that turns out great modules. I hope you got to playtest this because it's pretty cool!

Just the way you described the arcane ooze reminds me to always keep the prose evocative, even with simple descriptions of a creature.

"It flows against gravity, squeezes through cracks, and leaves smoking magic in its wake."

It sure does!

Thanks for the constructive criticisim. I wholeheartedly agree with it, btw. I feel like both layout and formatting are my weakest skills. I put the kaibosh on both until the very last minute, because I knew it would frustrate the hell out of me. Thanks for commenting, it means a lot to me.

The evocative writing and descriptions here are really excellent. You've done a wonderful job targeting all that detail directly at your core conceit too, which makes it all very effective at the table (I suspect).

Damn, what a nice comment. I played my first ttrpg in 98' and have never stopped. This, however is my first attempt at writing something for a general audience as opposed to prepping sessions, etc. You made my day.

Thanks, that means a lot. I was grinning while writing it up.
