The science-fantasy elements incorporated into a Morkborg adventure are very cool, excellent theme. Some really nice procedures are included to support the narrative. This is very ambitious for the page count limits of this jam, I think it wants to be expanded and breathe a little more. Just need to collect a little more complex biomass...

Excellent layout and art. Love the writing. I feel the comparison with a Twilight Zone episode is spot on. I can almost hear Rod Serling narrating the module!

Really dig the writing and structure of this one. Feels both very Morky Borgy yet very distinct and delightfully strange and gruesome. Getting more of a Shadowdark feel from the art and layout but that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Love the creativity and the design. Can't wait to run it when I have time!

I applaud your ability to have such a clean layout right next to some of the most skin-crawling text I’ve read yet in over 60 reviews lol

This is such a great module, very BORGy, while still seeming like a Twilight Zone episode. My favorite bits were the transformation class(?) and the Artifact roll tables. Great job!

Thank you so much! I really wanted the Silent Monk to be a whole class you turned into and then you'd continue to play as that. The space was so tight that it is implied rather than explicitly stated and explained in detail. Glad you picked up on that.

Side note: I have a post about my thoughts behind the Black Egg Artifact table(s) going up at Exeunt Omnes on Wednesday. ;)

You’re very welcome, and I look forward to reading the blog (as I often do)!

I read the class as like a prestige, that you stack on top of your own. Some buffs, and some downsides- really adding some creep flavor to a SCVM band that isn’t necessarily too far out there lol

Great module, fits well into Mörk Borg while having perfect zonecore vibes! Thanks for spreading the term, too, I've loved much of the source materials for ages and now I have a name for them!

Speaking of zonecore, you might like the TTRPGs at the bottom of this too: https://omnes.exeunt.press/p/what-is-zonecore

This is great stuff! Love the real explanation of why the Black Egg is there. Also love the artifact generator.

Very gross and fun. I like the artifact generation tables and the systems and mechanics you've included here. I wish there were pictures of locations, because the descriptions are so alien (rightly so) that it was a bit hard to imagine at points.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, it's a tight space and I didn't have access to custom art for this one. Would be a great idea for an expanded zine version though!
