A very neat little game. I think the score adds a lot of value in the form of replayability; perhaps you can make a leaderboard like the other games in the jam. Are there any differences between characters? If not, it would be cool to add some. Is the light mode hard difficulty?

The main menu has Zs popping over it, so it kind of gets in the way of reading it. Although the learning curve is not steep, a good tutorial is always show-and-tell, not just tell-tell-tell. A little relaxed background music would be top. I imagine there is a max score, that should be indicated. A fullscreen would help my eyes.
I liked having a moment of panic when everything turned on at once. 8.2/10, I didn't see any feet...
Really fun little game! It was put together very well and fast-paced enough you felt like you needed to be ready for the next thing :)
Thank you! This was exactly the feeling I wanted to go for.
Cute game and well executed!
Got a 490 score on my first run after letting him sit hot for a long time.
The only "complaint" I have is that the pacing was weird - long stretches of nothing, followed by everything being wrong at once! How unfortunate that this guy's phone rings while his fire alarm is going off, after he has dealt with the loud clock and leaky faucet!
Thanks for the feedback! I understand your feedback, but I choose to do it like this. My rationale was: at night, if I pee around 2AM, give my child a pacifier at 4AM and smack a moquito at 6AM, I have a great sleep. But if those things occur 04:00, 04:04 and 04:12. it's actually a hit or miss when trying to sleep again.
It adds a bit of chaos, which I like for this game.
Yea that makes sense, you were awake too long so it's hard to sleep!
Really nice game! Everything was solid here, nothing to complain about. Great take on the theme (love the cat/lamp interaction!), and really nice sound design., though personally I might have liked some quiet background music in addition. Simple gameplay loop, but fun (and stressful when everything starts happening at once!) and well-implemented. Really nice work here; great job!
Thanks for the feedback, yeah I was considering a background music, but since I used sounds from other people (see credits) I didn't. The music wouldve set the mood for the entire game (more then the sounds I figured), and thats why I wanted to either make the music myself, or not use it at all. If I had an extra day, I would've.
On my first first playthrough I had no idea how to control the temp so I woke up eventually, but second time through I understood and got a 582 score. I had a lot of fun playing this one, awesome job!
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I shouldve mention it in the how to secition maybe. Or i shouldve had a tutorial
Really awesome game! Very on theme which is great and it was fun trying to anticipate what was going to try and wake the character up next! I like the cat especially xD Really nice job!!
Saw your comment on my page, nice game! I really like the polish you put in with the animations and screen transitions. Also the moving bar minigame when clicking on objects is a nice touch.
I think the game fits the theme well and I like the mangement part of it. All the SFX work really well with the art and the scene overall.
Very nice game and the theme is super well implemented. I feel like each aspect of this game was thought out and planned and developed with the theme in mind. I was able to complete the whole thing after a few tries and I enjoyed it :) The gameplay was simple but pretty engaging, especially when it would divide my attention quickly. I appreciate that you had a unique sound for each thing as well instead of a just a generic alert SFX. Overall, well done! You should be proud of this one :) Thanks for making and sharing it
Thank you! I actually am really proud. I tend to never finish a game, so attending a game jam is really rewarding. Your feedback is really nice, and thank you for explicitly mentioning those aspects of the game, the SFX wasn't made by me, but I did want everything to have a unique sound. Every sense is important while gaming. I was actually planning on supporting haptic feedback ona controller, but it's a game jam, gotta prioritize ;p.
Nice game! I loved managing all the different noises as well as the temperature. It did take me a while to figure out I could change the temperature by opening and closing the window, since it wasn't specified in the "How to" section. Otherwise, it was really fun!
I must have missed that! I added new features after I built the how to section. Thanks for the feedback!
Really love the management, such fun gameplay. I honestly got pretty sucked in. Super fun and looks great!
Thanks! Nice to hear that you liked it so much. A great compliment on a game jam game is that someone plays it for longer than a few minutes, so thanks!
My score was 534 on normal and 557 on hard difficulty, I enjoyed playing this, really fun and relaxing.
The management in this game was fun and relaxing, and the game fits the theme very nicely! The art is also well made. I got a score of 575 idk if that's good or not.
Thank you! I am not a pixel art artist by trade, so it was a bit out of my comfort zone. I don't actually know what the max score is that you could get, but I had some flawless runs and got around that score as well, so I'd say it's really good!
Wow that was fun i got 595 final score i think? Reminds me of a 2D FNAF, you could expand this further even
Thanks! Yeah i was wondering if I could, what other things could annoy you while sleeping?
A bug flying around, a bad dream, light, child crying, mice scrurrying
Very unrealistic, you can actually kill the mosquito in this one!
This was a fun and relaxing management game!
haha, well, even if you kill one, another one tends to pop up. Thanks for the feedback!
This is such a great entry for this jam, i love this interpretation of the theme!
I love that there are moments when nothing happens, just the character peacefully sleeping, it gives you a moment to look around but also distracts you when the annoyances struck. I had a lot of fun playing!
And the visuals are amasing, the room looks great, the text animations are a nice touch, and that traansition animation looks amasing.
A great, very polished project!
Thanks for the positive words! :D
Quite fun and had a very peaceful atmosphere and sound design (matching the theme well), great job.
Thanks! :)
pretty cool! the gameplay was simple and fun. the background turned gray halfway through my playthrough though and i'm not sure how i feel about the ai generated descriptions but this was a nice experience
Hi! Thanks for the feedback :) iโll make sure to give your submission a try as well.
i can assure you I wrote the descriptions myself, but i did ask AI to give me some pointers for writing. Since English is not my native language I tend to write long descriptive texts but I wanted it to be concise
Great fit to the theme! Well done!!
Thank you!
