Short but with a strong personality. Nice idea and implementation. Great job!

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm glad I liked the idea!

Nice game, really short though. Maybe it's longer? I got stuck after cleaning every red puddle.
Some kind of music would be nice.
Loved the style and character of the game.

Yes, unfortunately, this is all the content in the game for now. There’s a second mode that’s activated by pressing TAB, but it works strangely. We made a OST for the game, but we didn’t have time to add it. TT

I adore the art and animations! The concept, too, is lovely. Never knew I needed a mopping skeleton in my life, but I *did* and I am glad that now I have it. The mode-swap animation is a particular joy.

I didn't mind the number of keys, exactly — it's a little, I dunno, QWOP-y? — but the level was so short that I didn't have much of a chance to really settle into the muscle memory of immersion. I do agree with the other commenter that perhaps up/down (W/S) could be used to pick up/put down the bucket since those aren't otherwise used currently, but it's perfectly playable as-is.

Developer

Thank you very much! I’m really glad that the art and concept managed to overcome the technical issues. We’re already working on a corrected version, and based on that foundation, we continued the post‑jam development right up to the release on Steam.

The level itself and the amount of content turned out to be quite small, because we simply didn’t have time to code everything, but I’m glad that what was added was enough to provide a positive gaming experience! :3

Gorgeous animations and very cool concept! I really loved Crime Scene Cleaner and this game resonated a bit with me, I loved the mood / atmosphere, I'd love to see you take this game further. The controls might need a bit of a revamp, but otherwise this was such a treat amidst all the other entries!

Developer

Thank you very much! Cleaning up the battlefield is just a small part of the overall concept, so I hope we won’t disappoint the people who were particularly taken with this idea. :,)
We have big plans for post‑jam development, and improving the controls will be the first task on our roadmap!

I don't think I've ever played a game with a concept like this before :D It's very unique!

The controls were a little weird, though. I was basically playing with one eye while keeping the other on the key descriptions. :']

Developer

Thank you very much, I’m glad you liked my idea!

Yeah, the controls will definitely have to be changed; we were hoping there would be more immersion with the number of buttons. :(

Love the idea and these skeleton "clack-clack" sounds! :D

I did have to look back and forth a lot to see which key does what, but that was not a big problem since the game is so relaxing. :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I’m glad that the atmosphere managed to compensate for the technical shortcomings!

We’ll be solving the issue with the buttons so that playing is more comfortable.

Interesting concept!

Thank you very much!

Very interesting and creative idea!

I feel like there is no need to use that many keys. I like what +Beosil is saying.

Developer

Thanks! Yes, there are quite a lot of keys, and I myself felt like I was playing the piano, but we tried to make sure that each function worked separately.

In the future, we’ll optimize the gameplay so that you don’t have to use so many separate buttons. After all, we’re not DOOM :)

Really like the setup, would love to see more content based on it.

Cleaning up the mess after a battle as skeleton is just what I needed today =)

I really love your art. The start animation is amazing.

What about reducing the amount of keys a bit? Maybe just up/down for bucket pick up/put down. And space for all other actions?

Had fun playing your game. Congrats on your submission!

Wow, thank you so much! Praise from someone whose game made me think: “Wow, this gameplay is just amazing” is worth a lot.

I’ll take your suggestions into account when developing the game post‑jam, thank you!
