I had an idea of a mechanic for years and I've never seen anyone use it. Stargazing was the theme where I finally had to try. I hope you like it!

Beautiful game! The puzzles were fun, made me think but not too challenging. I thought the tutorial/teach was great! Audio was very enjoyable. I was going to comment on how great the inset frame looked, then it grew and took over the screen! Really great.
Really liked this game! It took me a while until I figured out the lake puzzle lol but that puzzle was cool. I wasn't expecting the sky to expand once I made it all the way to the right, it was very clever and going all the way back to the start where the game ends while completing constellations higher up was nicely done. The sound design and atmosphere was also quite good, overall I enjoyed the game!
Totally fun game and because there is no guidance to the player, the mechanics work better.
This game is so fun to play! We both finished it, and the puzzles were so satisfying. It was definitely a super rewarding game especially when you finally "see" a star. Great work on this game, it's an awesome experience!
YOOO, THIS ONE IS BEAUTIFUL! 🌌✨
The whole night atmosphere is SO good — the colors, the visuals, and especially that background music give it such a cozy nighttime feeling. 🌙🎧
But my favorite part was hiding behind the tree and aiming up at the stars. That moment feels sooo satisfying and honestly makes the STARGAZING theme feel perfect. 🔭⭐ And then the sky expanding?? Such a cool surprise! 👀
The presentation is really polished, the gameplay is relaxing, and everything just fits together beautifully.
⭐ EASILY a TOP rating from me! Amazing work, seriously! 🔥
And please, if you have some time, try my game too and leave me a review! I’d really love to hear what you think. ❤️
GG and good luck with the jam! 🌌✨
Thank you so much, I really appreciate reading such positive comments! I'll be sure to check out your game later 😊
It's not often you play a second game in the jam and think "yup, this needs to take the prize". But you got it man!
The use of theme is on point. This is exactly what I think the theme "stargazing" means.
The presentation. Amazing. The graphics were great, and the audio was better.
But the gameplay. This was a journey! At first I was "ok, so you go and point at the stars". Then "you can see the stars in water. Cool". This was all nice. Then the screen got bigger. "Wider skies, I get it". I thought I've seen all you got by then.
BUT THEN I CURVED THE LIGHT WITH A BLACK HOLE!
Loved it!
I'm so glad to read that! That's the kind of comment that makes me smile and makes me want to keep coming back to game jams! It was one of my most ambitious projects, so I'm really happy to see that all the effort I put into it paid off :)
Nice game, very enjoyable. Some stars are tricky to reach, though…
It wasn't supposed to be a difficult game and I'm curious to know where you struggled the most. But I guess a bit of challenge is what makes fun puzzles :)
Thank you for playing!
3rd constellation, the center star and the rightmost one. The moving clouds don’t let me complete the stars… =)
Have you noticed you can you the reflection of the ray in the lake? It's shouldn't be too precise like that :)
… I’m an idiot. =P
The gameplay was pretty enjoyable, andI really liked the twist that happens midway through!
Thank you :)
Gameplay / Fun / Engagement
Simple, but very pleasing. Nice work. It would be probably hard to take it further but it shows that it is perfect scope for jam game. It also gives some cozy vibes. Which is great.
Creativity / Experiment
It is nice twist on some other entries when you literally look at stars. Not crazy inventive but cool.
Art Style / Visuals
Art is great. 5/5
Audio / Sound Design
"star picking" is very satisfying. Great SFX.
Theme
Well... 10/10
Thank you so much for the feedbacks! I goal was really centered around the gimmick where the window expands in the middle of the game. I haven't seen any game using this mechanic (and it forced me to not use a game engine) so I thought that was where it would draw it's experimental and creative aspect from (I hope you reached that part. Nobody mentioned it yet!)
Bro these visuals are sooo good, its so cozy. Really well polished and clean. I loved that!
Thank you!
I liked the game! It’s really creative, but I didn’t understand everything from the start because there were no hints, and I got stuck in the middle of the game, haha. But overall, it’s a good game!
I added a solution video to the itch page if you want to check it out. Did you get stuck after the window expansion? I didn't want to break the immersion and because if you look where you haven't, you'll always find the answer. Or at least that's what the theme reminds me of!
oky ill check it out , thanks :)
Did you manage to reach the end. I added a solution video to the itch page. What part did you struggle on the the most?
