I got two stars. I was never able to get stability even when it seemed like my cakes were perfectly tiered, stable, got all the others checked. But I couldn’t ever figure out how to get stability.
Did you use whole pieces or did bits fall off the ends during construction? I added this line to the main page half-way through last week:
I got a 2 stars and decided to stop on that half of a victory ! Fun game, well done, simple but nice. I liked the idea.
The mouse cursor becoming a cake it´s so cute, that´s a lovely detail.
Seems like a game that´s hard to code.
It´s very fun, i was only able to get a single star, my cakes always broke.
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to put together. I ended up throwing the cake cursor in on a whim as Godot doesn't record the mouse cursor in its movie mode, so I needed a way to show what I was clicking on!
I then also spent at least 5 hours on the logic to determine how well you built the cake and displaying the results. 😅 Of course, afterwards I realized some slightly easier shortcuts for that logic, but that's how programming goes sometimes...

i could get addicted to chasing those 3 stars, love the inclusion of physics :) maybe the rating criteria could've been explained as well!
Thanks! It was fun to build too. 🙂 The game page explains most of the mechanics, though Centered is in relation to the cake stand, and Stability is a couple of factors mostly around how together the cake is with the proper sized pieces that haven't fallen apart (I'll probably break it apart into two checks in the future). I've added a tiny bit about these extra bits.
