What would you like feedback on?
Looking for general feedback. Was anything frustrating, confusing, or getting in the way of the experience? Would you be interested in playing more, with different environments and things to discover?
What did you update?
I improved the navigation and made interactable items easier to spot based on feedback from GMTK. Also expanded the original version with more shells to find, more scenes to explore, a few puzzles, and improved sound effects.

A fun and enjoyable game. It's just that toward the end, you eventually get stuck and can't go any further.
Hey! Thanks a lot for playing.
Yeah, a lot of people struggled with that one. You need an item from a different screen to get the unreachable shell. I’m planning to add a hint system in the next version that should help make these situations more enjoyable.
Cheers!
This was extremely calming! I loved the art a lot. I didn't like the 'fake' highlighting in spots which aren't necessary. You could make it so that the stuff are highlighted when they can be used, like getting a shovel, or make the highlighting more intense etc etc.
I really like the minigames, great game!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
Yeah, a lot of people agree with you. I’ll rework the sparkle highlights a bit in the next version. I really the idea of a weaker/stronger sparkle actually. Thanks for the feedback.
Cheers!
I really enjoyed this! It was a calming point & click adventure with some good puzzles. The puzzle to make the bracelets was my favorite, though it would be nice if there was some way to undo a mistake besides leaving and starting the puzzle over.
The red herrings are fine, but it would be nice if the sparkles went away after you checked them.
I would be interested to play more of this, though I don't know if I'd want different environments per se, I think sticking to the beach theme would be a cool & unique way to do a point & click/hidden object game.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed.
Thanks for the suggestions and feedback. Yeah, removing the sparkles once a screen is complete seems to be a highly desired change. I’ll see to it in the next batch.
Oh, and you’d like the vibes to stay summery? Good to know. Cheers!
Interesting game. Visually looks great. So for me two of the most frustrating things were: spots that give you nothing but the game keeps highlighting them, almost saying: "hey keep trying to look here, there might be something here", which was annoying, because I kept thinking if maybe I get something I can open it.
Another frustration was the fishing rod. I found the shell it is needed for quickly, but didn't understand what the game wants. Then I even found its location. BUT I never realized it wasn't a decoration. So I kept looking elsewhere for something. And I only found it after I started clicking everywhere on every screen I can out of frustration.
Personally not a big fan of this genre so for me personally the answer is mostly no
Hey! Thanks a lot for the feedback. This is very helpful.
At GMTK, there were no highlights whatsoever and many people were confused about navigation or finding interactable items. To help prevent pixel hunting, I’ve added the navigation arrows and the sparkle highlights to show what is clickable. At the moment, that’s their only purpose. But maybe after you dig a place up and there are no items left on the screen, I could remove the sparkles.
As for the fishing rod… yeah, a lot of people struggled with that one. I’ll have to work a bit more on that shell. One thing that might help is a hint system, which I’m planning to add in the next version. Also, great job figuring out in the end how to get the shell!
Cheers!
Great cozy game, with a lot of fun mini games.
It was really satisfying to play.
Maybe the arrow to move are a bit hard to see some times.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed. And yeah, I’ll have to work a bit more on the navigation. Cheers!
Really calm game. I enjoyed making bracelets for the girl.
I would like to see added hover animations on the objects. It would make the game really responsive, currently when I hover over something nothing happens, it’s okay but getting feedback when hovering would be really cool.
Audio is nice.
When playing the game minimized the right navigation button is obscured by the fullscreen button.
Lovely game
Hey! Glad you enjoyed the vibe. Funny enough, I thought the bracelet puzzle wouldn’t do so well, but it turns out to be a favorite, haha.
And thanks for the feedback! I am definitely planning to add some responsive animations and cursors in the next batch. I’ll see what I can so about the full screen button as well.
Cheers!
I really enjoy point and click games like these. I couldn't figure out how to reach the shell that was out of reach, but it didn't make the overall experience bad.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, a lot of people seem to struggle with that one… You need an item from a different screen to get it. I’ll have to polish that last shell a bit so it’s leas cryptic and I am planning to add a hint system to help in these situations. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
Super awesome graphics I like the hand drawn style and the puzzles too. Reminds me of the older point and click adventure games in a good way! I would check out more environments, this game is very charming. I echo that this is a good base and could totally be expanded into a full game! Cool stuff!! Really like the sparkle that gives you a hint to interact with it, very nice touch.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. I might just expand this into a bigger and more polished game. Cheers!
I didn't get a chance to play this in the original jam, but the navigation feels intuitive to me here. The scenes are absolutely stunning! The underwater scene is definitely my favorite. I like most of the audio, but it's a little too long between some navigation scenes, maybe that could be shorter or you could add a fade?
I would love more environments to explore that look like this.I feel like you could make a full point and click story starting with this base.
Thanks! Glad you liked the vibe. The underwater scene is my favorite as well!
At GMTK, a lot of people mentioned they found it hard to figure out what’s clickable and many went pixel hunting. I tried to improve on that, so I’m really happy to hear the navigation felt intuitive.
And yeah, I definitely need to work more on the audio. Thanks for the feedback.
Cheers!
Cool cozy game! Wandering around looking for shells was a really pleasant experience, especially nice to play in summer. I'd definitely be interested in seeing more little activities or mini-games added to the world.
I'm still a bit confused about the last shell, though — I tried pretty hard to figure out how to get down there, but couldn't find a way.
Oh! I got the last one. It's not that obvious, accidentally found a clue after some random clicks.
Hey! Really glad you enjoyed and great job finding all the shells. A lot of people struggled with the last one, so you are a real pro for finding it, haha. Cheers!
Cute cozy little game. Had fun with the cute little objectives to do (especially the necklace one which really made me think) and definitely would love to play more for more fun little cute objectives.
Just the last shell where you can't go down, I tried clicking every where and I still don't know how to go down there, which was kinda frustrating but I probably just missed something idk
Thanks for playing! Yeah, a lot of people found it hard to get that shell… You need an item from a different screen to retrieve it and it’s a bit though to see. I’ll have to make it more visible and explain a bit better what’s expected there. But what I really think the game needs is a hint system. I’ll add these in the next version. Cheers!
Really liked this one! It reminds me a lot of those Humongous Entertainment point-and-click games, and the puzzle elements were surprisingly decent without ever being needlessly confusing. One part that was a little weird was where you had to find a shark-eye shell amidst a bunch of broken ones; you get it as soon as you click on it without really figuring out it's the right one, when I feel like you should have to really expose it somehow.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed the game. And thanks for the suggestion. I’ll see what I can do to improve those “needle in a haystack” puzzles. Cheers!
