Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
Yup, all the graphics!

Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
Nope, all the in game audio used are licensed assets and are mentioned in the development log.

How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
UNSTABLE here is part of the story and therefore the gameplay too, that is as the securty system of the building went out of control we gotta flap over those unstable condition to reach the top

Very nice twist on the genre! Very fun gameplay! Great job!

Vertical Flappy Bird? Neat concept. The obstacles are super punishing, having to fall all the way back down to the first ledge. Overall good job.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, yeah sometimes i too get hit by same obstacles again and again when i try to speed run it. after a point you get a quite a few more ledges but i think its still isn't sufficient enough!

Simple and fun concept, and feels very polished for a jam game! Love that you got an interesting game out of only a single input button. Could also work nicely as a mobile game. :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and yes actually the game is available to play in mobile too!

Very fun and addicting! I got to the brainrot, but the dialogue box was glitched. Regardless, very fun! Nice job!

Thanks for playing!! am glad you had fun.. This is what the last two lines say:
Brain Rot Line1:  Nooo! How could this happen?! A mechanic bird defeated me… in Ohio?

Brain Rot Line2 : Urgh… this isn’t the end, you mechanic bird. I’ll return at Do You Wanna Jam 2027! Brain rot doesn’t die that easily…

A very fun game! I loved the brave little bird at the setting of the ninja studio. Absolute four out of five!

Thank you! am glad you had fun!!☺️

Very fun and rewarding to play! I was able to beat brain rot by basically only jumping to get out of the way of the projectiles and just waiting for the 67's to hit into me. Pleasant surprise this was, awesome work!

Developer

Thats Amazing!! very few players defeated the rot so you must be an super cool player. and yes "only jumping to get out of the way of the projectiles and just waiting for the 67's to hit" is the same way i defeat it too!

I must suck at these games because I was getting bounced from spike to wall constantly lol. I can see how this would be addictive. Bit of a cross between Flappy Bird and Getting Over it. Great job.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, the way to crack this game is to consistently dodge between walls for few minutes then you'll  get a hang of it on how much the bird hovers..

I am terrible at this game XD I don't understand how the controls work BUT getting throw around by spike to wall reminded me of pinball, if you continue this game after the jam maybe you can make some pinball versions of this??  But that being said, I love the concept and the art is cute. Polished game and it's a great entry!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, i made this game taking inspiration from a game which i was terrible at and just wanted to make a easier version of it, but i failed at it i guess 😬..

Funny ending hahahha. This game is an auto 5/5 in most categories, super polished, solid, concise and fun experience. You should be proud!

Developer

Thank you very much!!☺️

I liked it. It reminded me of Flappy Bird, except vertical instead of horizontal. The birds were very cute. I do wish there were more platforms along the route because they acted as nice checkpoints so that falling didn't feel so punishing. Falling felt a bit punishing as well because I couldn't see a way to catch myself. Though that might be the unstable part of the game coming into play. I also feel like if you removed the ninja elements it could also work as a sort of "canary in a cole mine" situation. I say that as a compliment by the way. I think it's good when it's the game play that sells a game jam's theme, rather than the art or overall aesthetic.

Thank you very much for the feedback, i was having questions whether the platforms acting as checkpoints were making the jam too easy, so your comment on it really helps proving that its actually not sufficient. and i do agree it's a gameplay that should sell a jams theme, i have been failing at it since start and have to work upon it!

The game was very fun, but the last stage was a bit difficult.

Developer

Am glad you had fun☺️, and yeah sometimes even i feel  difficulty with the last fight!!
