Art gives me animal well vibes in the best way. I really enjoyed this! The platforming was challenging, but not impossible. The end room was a really nice touch to play with the audio of the buttons and get the payoff of charging everywhere. This is probably my favorite of the jam. Thank you for making this!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you liked it! Glad to hear button room wasn't too frustrating, I was a little worried it'd lose its charm quick.

" Here,  let me lend you a leg with that. "
Honestly, i think this has been my favourite from this jam. Uniquely compelling, very surreal, it feels like a lot of thought has gone into every aspect. The dreamlike/almost aquatic soundtrack is great and the artwork is fantastic.

Top work, very very fun!

Amazing jam game! You really got a unique style. The dialogue were really nice and the idea is something I actually haven't seen before [so cool]. That one room with the pink vertical slab was evil tho [and quite fun!]

Fantastic game! Great style and really cool twist on the platforming formula. Not much I can say that hasn't been commented below already, had a lot of fun with this! Awesome job!

The game is really good and easy to understand i really like the art it reminds me a bit of  Pikuniku. Also the interactions with the characters are quite funny

The best game so far. Really creative, really fun. Huge VVVVVV vibes

Straight up a great and fun little game, love the interactions and the humor, I was about to ask what the title meant but the previous comment mentioned it and I was NEVER gonna notice it out lol this is genius

I loved everything about this: silly little guys, unexpected legs, wall running, good vibes. You killed it!

At this point I'd normally give my constructive criticism and tell you the moving platform parts took too much precision, but I just realized the name of the game is a little guy standing on the wall, so this time you get off easy.

I love the game idea of gaining the ability to run on walls and ceiling plus the control of the charging mechanic! Very cool game!

Really cool concept, and a very unique game. Well done on this one. I feel it is pretty polished too, a good amount of game play for a game jam submission!

The graphics is good, ngl I kinda got the Animal Well vibes when playing it (not in a bad way tho, impressive visuals). The gameplay is chill, sometimes there are challenging parts but not at all frustrating. Also I like those funny goobers that just give you their legs and say goofy stuff lol

i would love to know how you light up only the surface pixels!

Nothing too fancy! The base tile map looks like this:

so the tile borders are already a little brighter than the insides. Then I added an occlusion layer and covered up everything but the borders

Then I attached a point light to the player, and that's it! For the lighting, at least. The brick pattern comes from applying a shader that blends a repeating brick texture with the base tile map.

interesting. i thought you used Normal maps, so i ended up making a small prototype with a tileset with normals and it worked similarly

Great game! My favorite so far.

Super fun, unique and polished with some nice little puzzles

The three-legged dog is a little sad 🥺 The controls are clear and easy to understand. It was fun to play! I also really liked how the game introduces when and how you can use different things — it feels very intuitive.
