How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
Bouncing around on a pogo stick while trying to aim a weapons is pretty unstable!

Really good game, I think wall jumps could be a bit better to do, but excellent idea. Good Job!
First person pogo stick was my first prototype for this gamejam, but It was too hard to control to make the challenge platforming so I discarded that idea. But adding shooting on top of this is genious! Excelent idea, also I love the level of polish of this game, looks super solid. Great work!
Thanks for checking it out and 3rd person movement is always a challenge! So many variables to tweak.
Man, how did you smooth movement clean like this? I would like to make a control smooth like this. Anyway, I liked a lot, gameplay is really fun, music and originality is top level.
Movement can be fairly difficult in general in games, especially 3D. I use unity so I was able to use the built in physics (Plus tweaking all inputs a bunch) to make it feel okay. Thanks for playing it though!
The theme is hilarious XD Creative twist on the theme. The game is super polished, it feels like a full release! I liked the idea of a space soldier jumping around on a pogo stick in space with a shotgun. I am terribly at platformers and it took me way too long to clear 4 aliens on the cubes, the jump and shotgun use was challenging for me to get BUT i still had fun. Don't really have much feedback it's like a complete game. Incredible work.
I'm glad you were able to make it past the training level. I know people were struggling with wall jumping and shotgun blasting! Thanks for trying it out!
Amazingly polished jam entry, and with a unique and thematically fitting mechanic, too - very well done!
Thanks for checking it out!
Awesome submission! The pogostick is a really original take on the genre. The visuals and audio are really cohesive. Another successful game jam! Nice job!
Thanks for playing man!
This game is the most addictive in the whole jam 😭
Loved the idea of "unstable" being your aim because of all the hopping. Good job!
Thanks for trying it out and the kind words!
very nice and quite hard. I like the concept, I like the style. So good
Thanks for checking it out, I definitely need to improve the training level!
The shotgun propulsion "air pogo" was my favorite mechanic, it saved me so much from being unstable.
The tutorial is excellently made, a true rarity for game jams tbh. Kudos!!
Thanks for playing through!!
Very fun. I couldn't get the hang of the wall jumping though. Unique concept.
Thanks for playing! And I would be curious about what about the wall jumping was troublesome for you!
FUN GAME! I like the movement generally but I loath the wall jumping the game would have been perfect without it or with it improved. the music is nice and so is the atmosphere, the best thing about it is how powerful it makes you feel so good job!
Thanks for playing, and do you remember what part about the wall jump you didn't like in general? Was it the timing? Too much/little bounce off the walls? Would be interested in hearing about it more in-depth!
it was how unresponsive it was. sometimes it jumps sometimes it doesnt even when I recreate the same thing. it doesn’t give a lot of vertical momentum so in the wall jump sections you could easily get suck at just bouncing between the walls horizontally. but yeah my main issue with the responsiveness. if I was even a millisecond too late the jump is cancelled instead of being weak. and yeah again usually wall jumps have SOME vertical jump to them at least. luckily I was able to skip all wall jumping parts with shotgun and normal jumps
Fair enough! That was intentional so the player would use their weapons recoil to assist the wall climbs. But it's good to know players struggled with it. I should have made the wall jumping section strictly wall jumping only, with no need for recoil! There was another mechanic that I needed to explain better and that was jumping. You could charge a jump for more powerful jumps or tap the jump and still get a boosted jump (Just not as much). This was a helpful piece of feedback!
I think the pogo mechanic is unique and fun. I like the creativity the weapons bring to the movement, as you can use them to jump higher. At a certain point, the movement felt disorienting, though. Otherwise, a cool game!
Thanks for playing, I hope you didn't get too dizzy from the movement!!!
I thought I was falling, but then I remembered my training. I 180 shotgun and pogo off the wall and 180 shotgun again to get back to the platform. One enemy remains. I landed right in front of them. I shotgun them point blank, but I forget the recoil. I fall to my death. The pogo gods resurrect me. I shamefully pogo to the finish. Fun game!
Thanks for trying it out silly! You explained the feeling this game gives so well with this one comment!
the gunplay was fun, and love the pogo stick mechanic
just wish the movement was a little faster, felt like the pogo made me slower
but overall great entry
Thanks for checking it out! If you wanna go faster, the shotgun packs a real mean kick! lol
Very fun & the pogo stick idea adds such a cool new challenge to a shooter game!
I appreciate you taking a look at the game!
Nice work this is really good.
Thanks for trying it out!
this is really good! if you ever plan on continuing this i would love a level editor.
Thanks for trying, and a level editor would be great for a game like this!
Super difficult super fun!
Thanks for trying it out.!
Really impressive for a web game! And super unique theme interpretation too
