very charming and full of vibes, i love he collage map
Thanks! I´m glad you liked it!
I love the vibe of this adventure. There is a strong connection between all the details and what the underlying story conveys. It makes it very coherent and therefore compelling. Bravo !
Thanks, friend!
Great theme, and excellent use of map-as-cover, which was very popular last year, but this may be the 1st version I’ve seen of it so far this year in over 95 modules rated. I really liked the tragic plot twists, as well as there being a variable chance to save Oriel. The random encounter tables were also fun, especially the void one. Great work!
Thanks, friend!
The cover map is fantastic, such a good mishmash of art on there. I really like the twist for Oriel's fate too, dark stuff
Thank you for taking your time to read it!
Nifty dungeon map on the cover! I was surprised by the contents of the crypt room, and that got me really excited about the rest of the module. Overall, cool set of weird chaos rooms and void corrupted denizens!
Thanks, friend!
I like how you've used the cover art as a map. Overall a very fresh design look. The keyed locations are extremely trippy!
I'm glad you like it. Thanks for you review!
Others have said it, visuals are very strong, nailed the tone and theme and came up with a fun adventure. There's some typos, but on this timeline, whose doesn't? The cover image is good, and having it double as the map is very clever, but it takes away from the strength of the image (for me). Maybe there's a more subtle way to accomplish the same thing but I'm not going to yuck your yum. You clearly know what you're doing.
Hi! I'm surprised no one has mentioned the typos yet, because my English isn't the best, and I was sure there must be some mistakes I couldn't spot. I think you're right about the map, I was really happy with the cover until I had to add the numbers and the connections between rooms. Next year (if the jam takes place), I'll try something different if I can.
Thanks so much for the review!
Oh the formless chaos void is evoking the Elric story "The Dream of Earl Aubec" ! Lovely writing that supports it!
I love Earnest, and the design for Oriel is very cool (especially the use of detachment, etc).
The only suggestion I might have is it may be useful to explain the twist to the GM at the top of the module.
I would (and might) absolutely run this! Great submission!
I'm glad you liked it, that was exactly the vibe I was going for.
As for the twist, you're absolutely right. It was a decision made to save space, but it didn't actually serve that purpose because I had to explain it elsewhere, and it would have been clearer the way you suggest. I might make an extended version or something like that after the jam is over.
Thanks for taking the time to read my adventure. If you decide to run it at some point, I'd love to hear how it went.
Love the tragic story. Simple yet effective layout; the map on the front cover is smart use of the space. I really like how easy it is to drop this statue into any adventure (which I will probably do).
Oh boy, if you do it, let me know how it went. Thanks for the kind words!
Great twist! The implied verticality is also pretty cool, gives the adventure a unique feel.
Thank you!
Great cover and cool adventure!
Thanks, friend!
Excellent work! A great concept and wonderfully twisted, tragic story.
I'm glad you liked it!
Great writing and sense of theme and place.
Thanks a lot!
The discovery that can be made about "what's really going on" is dark and impactful (no spoilers). Would be very interesting to be a player in this adventure.
Thanks a lot!
