Description
I went with a simple and sparse arrangement for a melancholy feeling, eventually swelling to become a bit more nostalgic. I really wanted to focus on capturing emotion for this, Ideally the leitmotif would have been borrowed from an important character's theme. There's a feeling of sadness that I get when listening to this, I think there would be some loss at the end of the game, but there's a tinge of hope that I tried to capture by having the piece end with the same piano I started with.

The energetic part didn't feel energetic, the piece felt quite pensive all the way to the end. Memorable and solemn but may not match the energetic part requirement well.

I really like the piano an strings beginning, especially love the section where the background choir takes over and the listener is fully aware of it being a part of the piece for the first time.

For something so slow and moody, it feels somewhat repetitive. You might want to switch up the piano riff or the tempo a little to make it less monotonous.

Despite that, it's a really nice submission to the jam and totally fits for the end credits of a game.

Woah this one is pretty! Great chord progressions and instrumentation! If I had to suggest something that other people haven't yet, it would be to make sure that the elements blend together more better. At times, I felt like the strings and violin were overwhelming other elements of the song. Another thing would be to adjust the panning of your instruments so it isn't completely centered dead-on.

Incredible work, ginko! I hope to see some of your work in the future!

Nice work, my favourite parts are the beginning from 0:00 to 0:30 and from 3:25 until the end. The nostalgic feeling is well represented, the quality sound is great, the piano is soft and smooth to the ear. I like the rythm too.

One issue there can be is that it's a little repetitive, you add some instruments, but the structure is quite the same, which can be good, but for the middle part, 2 minutes are quite long.

Overall, it's a nice music and the piano part is what stands the most and is beautiful !

Hey, I've just listened to your track!

I really liked the melancholic feeling of this piece. It sounds like the ending of a game that doesn't end tragically, but still leaves a sense of emptiness behind. The chord progression is great, and the instruments blend together very well. I also really enjoyed the opening with the piano alone.

However, I didn't find the more energetic section particularly dynamic, and the track felt a little repetitive at times.

Overall, though, I enjoyed listening to it.

Good luck with the rest of the voting period!

I love the chord progressions and ethereal sound this track has. Which precision level did you go for?

Oops forgot to add that - I was going for level 4, would have liked to go all the way but didn't have enough time to incorporate a section in a different mode. I tried to capture the setting through feeling instead of sound selection, when I think of 'time' I think of a very melancholy sound.
