Thanks a lot! 😃 We ran into some time issues with the jam (the glitch) but you're comment has put me in a really good mood!

Just listening to this made me really happy! Great track! Very fun rhythm and chord sequence. I don't think it's too jammy at all

This is the most unique I've seen from the jam. I love it! The vocals and sax are so moving. And the synths and percussion from 2:05 are so calming. You're very good at eliciting emotions and vibes. I did lose the melody a little when all the voices came in but I'm not necessarily sure that's a bad thing.

This track is really moving! And also sounds very professional. I actually quite liked the synth although I can see what other people are saying. I think it was a cool development and boosted the energy nicely.

Thanks! I will have to look up wind waker but your description sounds like what I was going for. Will definitely look into some VSTs

I really like the opening, nice chords and melody. When it starts building up, I think the accompaniment could use a bit more rhythm as it feels quite static. I like the instrumentation you've chosen, a nice spread of frequencies and you blend them together well.

The sound quality is really good and I like the endless kind of feel that the Dm-G pendulum gives off, especially for an end credits scene. I agree with the other comment about repetition but I quite like the opening and also the gradual increase in texture works very well. Just needs a bit of variation to spice things up.

The accompaniment and melody works really well together and it suits the brief nicely. I think that the instruments feel quite static up until 1:30, and after 2:04. That sweet spot in the middle is my favourite part of the song, I really like it.

This track really suits the brief, perfect for a credits scene. It sounds very well produced as well. If it was for anything else I'd say it was quite repetitive but it works for what you are trying to do.

This is really well done (looks like I'm not the only one saying that), the build up at 1:23 is very satisfying and manages to ramp it up without becoming cluttered, which is very impressive with how much you've going on. I love how it drops back down so soon after. The variation in dynamics and texture throughout keeps it alive and interesting. The ending is also particularly satisfying.

Thank you! It is a glockenspiel and that would be a good idea, I put a little on but I agree that it needs more

I love these chords and the melody as well, very interesting progressions and it really works. Perfect for a credit scene. I do think the sound quality suffers a little in the second section's accompanying piano and I'm not sure about the pause at 2:33 but I really enjoyed it!

Thank you, the ending was definitely my favourite part so I'm happy to hear you agree! :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice!! Very helpful and I will definitely look into it :)

This is epic!! First part is very moving and the second part's energy is perfect for the brief. I have no criticism, ending is very creative and cool as well.

I think this track conveys the emotions you're talking about very effectively and I like the percussion a lot. I think some of the instruments seem a little disconnected from about 45 to 55 seconds in but it doesn't last long.

I really like the major nines, very fitting vibe that it gives the overall track. I think it sounds really polished as well. Some of the harsher sounds like some of the drums and piano jar to me but that's more of a personal thing than a judgement on the piece.

I love the chord progressions and ethereal sound this track has. Which precision level did you go for?

None of that sounds bs at all, thanks a lot! I will keep it in mind, very helpful advice!

I love the beginning and the entrance into second section, very immersive. I don't rly have any criticism apart from I feel like the ending comes out of nowhere a little bit. Could maybe have a longer build up but over all I think it's very atmospheric.

Thanks, will definitely look into VSTs. And arrangement. I'm quite new to orchestral composition so I need all the advice I can get.

Thanks! Maybe I went a bit overboard with the drop. I was struggling a little with the static instruments while composing – will have to look into that for next time.

You have nailed it with all the sound design. It creates the perfect vibe for a steampunk game and I can really visualise the credits rolling with it in the background. I really like the central ostinato as well.

This is so atmospheric and really fits the brief. I can totally see it in end credits, especially with all the ticking sounds and details put into it. Sounds very well produced as well. Just got to the drop and where it comes back in (3:30), I think that's so epic!!

do we retain full rights to the music?

(1 edit)

Very stressful (in a good way!), a fun idea and well executed!
