Interested in longer, HONEST feedback in return for the same!

Sick of "omgz your gam was cul bro" one liners?

It's well known that one of the most important requirements to making a good game is quality feedback.

While, yes, honest, more detailed feedback often leads to retaliatory low ratings, I feel it's worth it.  If you do too, then post a link to your game here.

PS: if there are lots of games, it's gonna take me a while.  Longer feedback can necessitate spending quite a lot of time with each game and I am feeling really tired, and hence slower, today.  ALSO: Itch web games only.

I liked the music.

There's some scaling issue when going fullscreen, it doesn't resize.  Rotating the player isn't clear, do you rotate when hitting a wall?  Enemies don't have a rotation limitation, so it's a player's disadvantage?

Some textures are still prototypes.  Just find some wall assets.  Some z-fighting with the grass, which shouldn't be specular.  The player mesh looking simpler and worse than the enemies isn't ideal.

Do the enemies path find to the player, because it seems that they get stuck often.

Are you also leaving sound effects until the very end?

Thanks for your feedback. The player rotation is a bug, and I don't know how to fix it. For the walls, I wanted them be prototypes, as the colors of them are what matters. And the player mesh...I didn't really have time to find a good texture and fit with the color scheme I was going for. Enemies path finding is also another bug, Sound effects are selected actually from the very start. Again, thank you for your feedback!!

In terms of rage, I felt a lot of it. Of course a freaking door falls on me out of nowhere. It certainly lives up to the name there. The unpredictability of the dangers is great, in no way would I have thought a column that falls would shoot freaking arrows at me. The music felt knight-y and on-brand with the game (and given its repetitiveness, would add more to the frustrations, which is great). The cartoonish art is pretty good and is detailed. And I would say using a cartoonish artstyle would certainly amplify the rage because it's presenting the game as innocent, like it's passively saying that it's not evil, but then would absolutely bomb the player from a innocuous barrel. Overall, really great work for 7 days.

Going away for a couple of days without access to computers, so I’ll play yours when I am back. Be as harsh as you want, but beware its a bit long; 30-60mins ish. https://mizudo.itch.io/no-one-else

Played the game,  the art is nice and all but I know that you have focused more on the mechanics, the game is fun to me because I played a ton of soulslike games, and for me it is good, movement is good, you can easily bait the projectiles, I was hard stuck at the stage 3 btw retried it for a thousand of times because you have to memorize all the paths to take along with dodging the falling chair and table WHHAHA in a black screen, at first I thought it broke my game but I noticed that the time is ticking so I tried and I tried done it in  110+ tries WHHAHA is that good? WHAHAAH I did not get the screenshot but I promised I played it for 30min or so grinding it, just like the quote says just "git gud." I think it ties with the theme very well and you can see it right away unlike mine.

I would appreciate if you could give me some feedbacks and advice on how to approach my future projects. sorry I could get to upload a web version like your game and you have to download it. but it is pretty small made it in godot hope you like it. Thankyouu

I'm in a shit mood today.  That's what no sleep does to me!  Might be better if I review your game tomorrow.
