How does the game fit the theme?
Everything could be a mimic- you can't even trust your own bullets.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The bloom shader is modified from a gdshader tutorial.

Great work! Feels fluid and challenging, can really feel a gungeon inspiration here. I may also be a fan of the theme haha. For a solo effort, there's an impressive amount of polish to everything!

love the character movement, love the music, love the feel i wanted to play. super good job! and yes i see how you interpreted the trust no one, i think even tho other ppl write it wasnt matching the theme i see it, and i think with more time you could have integrated it even more places :D

Developer

Thanks!

fluid mechanics for the time frame which is great. Animations are okay. could used a walking anim but low time frame can be understandable. ignore the theme mathcing as our game didnt do it either haha. The projectiles do come out too quick a little. more mechanical you couldve sign wave the bullests on some guys so it makes differentiation traveling to a point to make it more unique rather direct line path shooting which gets a littel repetitive.

Thanks! A lot of that stuff was planned but had to get cut for time.

This is a pretty polished game for being made in only a week, Great Job! I like the idea of your bullets becoming mimics, its a cool way to make a roguelike connect to the theme of the jam.

The start screen and cover are cool and I like how clean the game looks and plays. I only wish it had a minimap. Well done! :)

Developer

Thanks! I was planning on having a minimap, but I had to cut it for time.

You really captured that Enter The Gungeon style, overall feels solid, great work!

Developer

Thanks! Gungeon was definitely my main inspiration for this game.
