How does the game fit the theme?
since its about trust no one
having an interrogator game where you question suspects and nothing seems obvious makes up for the trust no one theme

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
we made all of the assets ourselves exept for tow addons for godot which the credits are included in the in-game's about panel

How many people worked on the game?

Going for a 3D game was bold and you guys did great! Love that the music sounded kind of like a cat purring while you played as well.

Oh I'm always a fan of pixel filters! Good game!

I like the visuals! Tools are pretty fun to use too, though being able to type in the manual would have been nice. My digital handwriting is no good haha. Well done.

More of a dog guy, but I just loved this game. The art style is really good, little laggy on my end, but nothing catastrophic. Really like the game loop, and the dialogues are written really well! Great job boi.

Developer

thx.. and the binary version is there for anyone experiencing lag (Godot’s performance on web is garbage with the gl tenderer since Vulcan is not supported)

Amazing game! I feel like this game was made for me as a cat and crime-solving story lover. I loved the immersive notebook and how you actually collect evidence, and the purring is awesome. Great job, my favourite entry so far!

Developer

mrrow :3 mrrp

Loves the art style and the game is quite polished. A few more different cases and it is ready for steam.

Developer

i might try to finish it after the jam and add more content

Loved this. Art style and general visuals are amazing, music and sound too! It's really polished and immersive, I got really into taking photos and writing, I'd love an eraser or smth like that lol. Awesome!

sounds like a great idea (but for that i will change the pen to something more like a pencil than the current ink pen)

Great little murder mystery. Really enjoyed it. I think you chose the perfect level of complexity for a game jam. I got the killer because of the clues. Only thing you might want to add is a way to type in my notes. drawing them takes a lot of time and my handwriting is pretty bad ;D. the constant cat noise was a fun addition.

Developer

yea i wanted to add sticky notes too (that yellow thing) where you could type to it and i wanted to add a more immersive interrogating (like dynamic dialogues) but i had no time sadly :<

(I got the killer right!) The atmosphere is great, I particularly liked the fisheye effect from the cat's perspective. Good job, I had a lot of fun!

Developer

yay :D

First of all, omgg the paws are so cuteeeee!!! can't stop pressing lmb/rmb haha.

back to the gameplay, i really like how the story went and the investigation after. The lighting was not the best here, yes there is a flashlight but it's hard to interact with items in the dark, and the way I can't see what I can interact with items while on flashlight mode was crude </3.

I did wish the player had like purring or cat sounds happening to give more proof that we are a cat, cuz the only evidence is our cat paws and, I just feel like a detective having cat paws instead of being a cat being a detective. Though, this is a non-issue, just a little personal interest hehe.

Really enjoyed this creative little game you made, nice one!

Developer

i quickly added tow lights to fix the broken lighting (i hope the jam allows that) also added purring sound

This was really fun! I enjoyed putting my brain cells together and thinking about who is the murderer :)) It was find just randomly clicking just to see the paws move haha.  I do wish that there was an ending to whether we got the killer right/wrong or just for the drama. For a while I was confused on the [inventory_next] etc. keys until I realized key/mouse bindings were suppose to be there hahah

Overall, I had fun with the game! I think you guys did good and think you can flesh this into a bigger game :3

but it does say it? i think we should’ve made it more obvious like showing the criminal image maybe?
