Great idea, but the monster phase was way too hard. I couldn't beat the first night.

It's a different game. I did enjoy telling a kid he was an alcoholic. The monster phase was an interesting, complete change, and it worked. But then it kind of didn't work for me; I just kept getting caught, and it became annoying.

The atmosphere you created was good, and you tried something a bit different. Wel done

Those jumpscares got me good! Great job I haven't seen any game like this in the jam!

Was not expecting that... lol definitely got me with the jump scare. This was a unique premise and funny.  Nicely done, one of the more original entries I've seen.

I really like the VHS art style. I didn't expect the jumpscare though. Overall, it's good.

This is impressive. I think this is my highest rated game so far. I loved the retro art style as well as the sound effects. The movement in the maze section was really smooth, and while the  monster part was hard, it still felt fair. Good job on this game jam, this is a great entry.

That game surprised me because I was actually playing a morning and wasn't prepared for some jumpscares hahaha, great job overall, it fits the theme well and the level design are intuitive, great job !

Full screen would be nice. A few of the dialogue lines felt weird and hard to understand. Would have liked to see more of the customer interactions then the horrorish part.

Added a full screen button

Yeah you might be right for the customer interactions part, in hindsight this game might have been better just focusing on the fortune shop part

Maybe I am dumb but i cant work out how to make it full screen? Which is a shame coz the visuals are so so good i love the retro VHS art style. Great entry.

Thanks! Sorry about that, added a full screen button

I could use a fullscreen button? Very small to look at but great take on the theme.

Thank you! It might be too hard? Were you struggling with the first monster encounter, second or both?

Might be just me but I couldn’t get away without being caught 2-3 seconds after ahah. It was on the first monster
